Spots and Stripes for the flowers

 Hi all,

Sorry for the delay getting my card uploaded - I was getting a tattoo done yesterday. Our new challenge started yesterday over at I Love Promarkers, with the optional twist of spots and stripes.

I used patterned papers from a Papermania Capsule Collection to create the background. I coloured the image with Promarkers (including spots on the flowers and stripes on the plant pot), and then fussy cut the image. To finish I added a couple of cat stickers and some star and heart peel-offs, as well as a peel-off sentiment.

Monochrome days

 Well the sky is certainly staying a lovely shade of grey, in keeping with our monochrome twist over at Creative Moments. However, the trees are certainly not with their lovely shades of orange, red and yellow, mixed in with the greens.

Here is my creation, using a Mirtellamente image.

I coloured the images using various shades of pink Promarkers cerise, pastel pink and pink carnation. I then simply cut the image into a rectangle and layered onto a pink base card. I used some border stickers, also in pink, to border the image. I added a bright pink (it does look kinda red on this photo) square, and added a pink glitter peel-off balloon. To finished I added some pink flower and butterfly embellishments.

Witchy

 Hi guys,

Our challenge that started this week over at I Love Promarkers is simply to use a witch on your project. Of course you are always welcome to play anything goes if you do not like the challenge theme. We are sponsored by Polkadoodles for this challenge, who provided the DT with several witches from their store - do go and check out the blog to see them in use.

I used Pandora witch halloween and coloured her with Chameleon pens. I then fussy cut the image before layering onto red mirror card. To finish I added some felt spiders.

Autumal colours

Octobers challenge over at Moving Along with the Times (MAWTT) the theme, chosen by Christine, is Autumnal colours.

I used my Daisy and Dandelion decoupage pack to make this card, simply adding a red mirror card matt to the card base before attaching the decoupaged image. I then finished with a felt butterfly.

Shaking Christmas

 Hi guys,

Our challenge is still live for another two weeks over at Creative Moments, with the optional theme of making an interactive card. We do always welcome anything goes creations too.

Here is my reminder card - this time I went for a shaker card.

The image was coloured using Promarkers, then die-cut into a circle. I used a Hunkydory Christmas foiled frame and added acetate to this to create the shaker element. Glitter was added to the centre and thick tape allowed the frame to stand away from the image. Care needs to be taken to ensure that there are no gaps in the adhesive for the frame to work.

Gnomes

 hi guys,

Our new challenge started today over at I Love Promarkers, with the optional theme of Gnomes. Our lovely sponsor is Last Minute Manda.

I coloured the gnome using Chameleon pens. I then fussy cut the image before layering onto a patterned paper from my stash. These were added to a 6x4 card blank. I then added some heart stickers to add ore accents.

Cup of coffee

 I have been playing with some of the images I had previously coloured. This one is from Limited Runs and was a fun one.

I coloured the cup with Promarkers and then fussy cut it with the sentiment. I layered some glitter paper onto a card base, and then added the image over this. To finish I added a sentiment sticker.

Interactive cards

Hi guys,

Our new challenge over at Creative Moments has the optional theme of making your creation interactive.

As you can see I went nice and easy with mine, just making a flap that you open to see the image, however some of the design team have been very creative with their cards. Do pop over to the blog and check them out!

I started by colouring the image with promarkers. I then cut this into a rectangle and then placed this onto a 5x7 base card. I measure the patterned paper and scored the far left to allow the paper to be opened. I then stuck this to the card blank with pink glitter washi tape. To finish I added the excess strip of patterned paper to the left hand side of the card, and birthday stickers to the front.

At the seaside

 It is getting towards the end of summer, and so I decided to make a beach themed card on my day off (as I found some of my beach decoupage).

I used a vellum backing paper for a delicate effect of seashells. Then I layered a mirror card onto this. I added the decoupage topper of the girls collecting seashells to the side and then added the number to the silver mirror card.

Patterned floral wreath

 We still have two weeks for you to play along with our challenge over at Creative Moments (and as the weather is getting poor again, what better excuse :) ).

Here is my reminder card for the blog:

The image was precoloured so I simply printed and die-cut into a circle (overlapping thos bits that were outside of the die frame). I used two different patterned paper blocks that I got from The Range previously, turquoise and purple. I then used peel-offs to finish the card.

In the Jungle

 Hi guys,

Our blog post was a little delayed this week over at I Love Promarkers, however it is now live and the optional theme is 'In the Jungle'.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and then fussy cut this out. I backed a plain base card with some patterned paper from a magazine free gift. I then added a toucan sticker to increase the jungle feel of the card.

Three layers to the heart

 I have made a multi-layered card based on a sketch to share with you tonight.

I started with a blue base card, then added a purple music notation paper. Over this I added a pink patterned paper and then a die-cut heart with an embossed pattern in the centre. I added a flat back heart pearl to the centre of this and then added a peel-off heart.

The sketch I followed is this one from Cheerful Sketches.

Christmas Joy

 Hi all,

It is time for our reminder post for Creative Moments, where our optional theme is to use the sketch.

I have gone with a Christmas card this time.

I coloured the image using Promarkers and then also outlines the image with a Promarker. I simply cut it square. I used a gold metallic ink pad from the Range to make a circle in the background. Then I added a strip of patterned paper from my scraps box to the left hand side. I layered the image over the circle and then added a bauble sticker. The sketch we are playing with is this one:

 Hi all,

We have a new challenge started today over at Creative Moments with the option to use the sketch for your creation.

This is my card using an image from Patties Creations, and here is the sketch.

I coloured the flamingos using Chameleon pens and then used an X-cut scalloped circle die to make the topper. I placed this onto a pink base card and used a sentiment for the overlapping stripe. I then used mosaic tiles for the final accents from the sketch.

CAS floral sketch

 Hi guys,

I have used Pretty Poseykin Troll  for my card.

The image was coloured using promarkers, then added to a yellow panel. This was layered onto a white base card with scalloped edges. I then added two yellow scalloped squares on two corners, one having a pink flower topper on it. To the other bottom corner I added a blue panel and a blue and pink swift topper. The sentiment can be added to the second yellow square.

Tropical Escape

 Hi guys,

 Hey guys,

April Showers Bring May Flowers

 Hey guys,

It was my turn to choose the theme over at MAWTT, and as we are moving into May I want to see all those flowers that have been created with the April showers.

It is still difficult for me to access my craft supplies as I still haven't been able to move in to my new house. However I managed to throw something together with this little mouse that I coloured with Promarkers.

I simply fussy cut the image and backed onto a patterned paper I had in my little stash, which was from a unicorn paper stack.

 Hi guys,

I managed to make a quick card for the reminder post over at Creative Moments, even though I still haven't managed to move into my new house yet, so don't have easy access to my stuff.

I used a pre-coloured image from Beccy's Place. I then fussy cut the image. I folded a Kraft card blank into an easel card, added a strip of patterned paper and an 18 key for the base, and peel-offs for celebrating either side of the image.

Flora and fauna for spring

 It is time for our challenge winners and reminder post over at Creative Moments, which means I have made another card for our flora and fauna theme.

I coloured the image using promarkers and then fussy cut. I used a scalloped heart (X-cut dies) cut from lilac patterned paper to produce a background for the image. I then die-cut the butterfly from self-adhesive vellum. To finish I added some hessian flowers to the bottom corner.

Use the rainbow

 Good evening,

We have a new challenge over at I Love Promarkers, with an optional theme of 'Use a Rainbow'. I chose to make a rainbow with my sentiment, and also use some rainbow pattered backing paper for my interpretation of this theme.

The sponsor for this challenge is Polkadoodles and I have used ' Bananas about ya' for my card. 

I coloured the image using chameleon pens, and also used these to create the rainbow sentiment - I simply used red, yellow, blue and purple to make the rainbow. I fussy cut the image and then added to my rainbow backing paper that was layered onto a 6x4 base card.

Butterflies

 Good evening all,

I made this card for our challenge over at MAWTT, however I then realised I had used the incorrect theme and my card making stuff is since packed away for moving house. So I wasn't able to use this card for the challenge blog, but I still wanted to share it with you all.

I thought the theme was butterflies, when in fact it is Trains, Planes and Automobiles - do pop over to the blog to see what the DT have made. In the meantime here is my incorrect card:

I started by layering a piece of black card onto a white card blank. As I wanted a chalkboard effect I used some white die-cuts from my stash of a flower and a butterfly. I then added a butterfly peel-off on the white section, which is a black glitter peel-off. Finally I added a domed sentiment.

Love and hearts

 Hi guys,

 It is time for our mid-way reminder over at Creative Moments. This time I have used a Hetty Clare image for my CAS card.

I coloured her using Chameleon markers and then used an X-cut nesting die to cut the image. I added her to an ombre card base. Finally I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed using a lilac embossing powder.

Under the sea

 Hi guys,

We have a new challenge started today over at I Love Promarkers. The optional theme for this fortnight is Under the Sea, so I have used a Mermaid image from our sponsor  Heather Valentin - Colour of Love .

I coloured the image with a combination of promarkers and Chameleon pens. As this was a rectangle design I didn't need to do much else - I simply used an under the sea themed patterned paper to attach a peel-off sentiment too, and another sheet from the paper pad to decorate the front of the envelope.

We had a new challenge start yesterday over at Creative Moments (I am a little late with my blog post!). Our optional theme for February is CAS. We have two sponsors for this challenge - Hetty Claire and Mirtillamente. I have used a Mirtillamente image - Flowerz #2.

I coloured the image using my Chameleon pens and then die-cut using X-cut large labels nesting dies. I used the next size up to cut a matt from patterned paper before layering onto a scalloped base card. Finally I added the peel-off sentiment stickers.
