Vintage birthday

 Hi guys,

I made a little birthday card following the sketch from AHSC, which you can see below.

I used a backing paper that I got free. I then added a plain cream die-cut label, bordered with a green mirror card Tim Holtz die-cut. I added the birthday peel-offs to this label.

Falling leaves/ dail yn cwympo

 Hi all,

We have a new challenge just started today over at I Love Promarkers, with an optional theme of leaves or flowers.

For my card I have used Autumn leaf possum from our sponsor Heather Valentin - Colour of Love.

I coloured the image with promarkers and then simply adhered to a silver base card. I used some leaves to accent the bottom and added a sentiment over the top of them

Kitty for mum

 hi guys,

We have a new challenge starting today at Creative Moments - with a DT call!

Our optional twist this time is to create something for a special lady, and I made a Mother's Day card.

The image is Kitten 1 from the first of our sponsors - Morgans Artworld.

Our second sponsor for this month, with the prize going to somebody who has played the twist, is  Ikes Art Digis.

For my card I used a precoloured image and layered it onto pink card. I then added a butterfly topper and a layered die-cut bird, finishing with a panel of pink card accented with peel-offs.

Foxy, foxy

 Hi all,

I have a postcard to share with you today.

The fox is an Apple Blossom die which I cut on orange card and coloured the embossed areas using fineliner pens. I added this to a pink card base (4x6). I then die-cut a crown and added this to his head. Finally I added the peel off sentiments.

Musical moments

 Hi all,

I made a selection of cards using mainly three stamps out of a stamp set.

For this first one I stamped the girl in metallic green ink before fussy cutting. I then stamped the sentiment onto a piece of white card in first silver and then the green metallic ink. I used a musical note stamp from the set to make the background before layering a die-cut tag and the stamped toppers onto the card base.

For this second one I wanted it to look a little more shabby chic (which I don't think I managed). It is more obvious in person that on this photo. I layered the paper onto the base card first, and then stamped the notes onto it on the centre horizon. I stamped the sentiment to the top in black pretty colour ink. I stamped the girl and microphone in metallic gold ink and fussy cut them before layering together onto the card.

This one is a pre-die-cut card blank. I coloured the butterflies with papermania metallic marker pens. I then stamped the sentiment just above in black pretty colour ink. I stamped the girl directly with pink metallic ink and then the microphone was stamped on scrap card with metallic red ink and fussy cut before layering onto the card.

Butterfly Wishes

 Hi guys,

We have a new challenge starting today over at I Love Promarkers with the optional theme of No Patterned Paper.

This challenge is sponsored by Ching Chou Kuik- and I have used Monarch butterfly.

Promarkers used:

Azure, Cerise, Tropical Orchid, Slate, Grey Squirrel, Frosted Leaf, Pine, Olive Green, Twilight Sky and Cinnamon.

I coloured the image, then fussy cut before adhering onto a green scalloped circle. I then mounted the panel onto a pink base card, with a die-cut sentiment.

Musical Friends

 Hi guys,

We have a new challenge starting today over at MAWTT with the theme of Friends, chosen by Diane Louise.

I used a music themed stamp set and kept my card CAS. I simply added the stamp to the bottom right and a peel-off sentiment above this, finishing with a die-cut cat silhouette. The card blank has silver metallic speckles throughout.

Love/Hate - Coffee!

 We are now midway through our challenge over at Creative Moments where the optional twist is love or hate. I hate coffee, but I know many people love it, so this is how my card fits into the theme. The image is from Mirtillamente and is called Margaret Coffee.

She was coloured using chameleon pens and then fussy cut. I layered die-cut squares across the centre of the card to mimic a coffee cup band. Finally I hand wrote the sentiment and added to the top of the card.
