Pretty Papers

 Hi All,

We have a new challenge started today over at I Love Promarkers, with an optional them of using patterned papers, which allowed me to use up some of my scrap stash.

I have used Love shack set from our sponsor.

I coloured the image using promarkers then fussy cut. I used two nature themed patterned papers from my scrap stash for the background and then added the image. I then added a dragonfly and a sentiment topper.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

MTTC #489 - I went for whimsical rather than fantasy for this one

SimonsaysWed - Anything Goes

Thanks for taking the time to look,

Christmas in July...what do you mean I'm late??

 Hi guys,

A new challenge started yesterday over at MAWTT with the theme of Anything Goes. As we were still in July while I was making my card I decided to go with Christmas in July. Oh well, it is a bit late going on my blog but there you have it lol.

I used a pre-patterned card with Santa and his sleigh on it. I then simply added a die-cut topper of a robin, and a foiled sentiment die-cut to this base card. I didn't want to over do it, so kept it petty simple.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
ChristmasCraftCreations - Patterned Paper (base card was pre-patterned)
ABCChristmas - O for old
AYLI - feathers are great for Christmas cards as the Robin is such a Christmas icon
InspirationStation #35 Animal Kingdom
polkadoodle wk31 Christmas in July
craftyhazelnut #605 include a reindeer

Something cute reminder post

 Hi guys,

You still have until the 10th of this month to enter our challenge over at Creative Moments, where our optional twist is cute.

Our sponsor is Morgans Artworld.

I used an image from them that I had in my stash for a while, but haven't actually had a chance to use yet.

I used paint to colour the image (and stupidly managed to save over the original, so not I do not have an uncoloured version!! I used a postcard type backing card which was already printer with the roses. I then fussy cut my image and added this to the centre. Finally I added butterfly gems.

I would like to enter this postcard into the following challenges:
SundayPostcardArt - Visual (there is very little texture but lots of colours and tones)
InspirationStation #35 Animal Kingdom
TIOT - make it feminine
AYLI - fur, feathers or scales (I have many more images with fur than either of the other two - also this made a very feminine postcard)
