So I wasn't able to use this card for the challenge blog, but I still wanted to share it with you all.</p><p>I thought the theme was butterflies, when in fact it is Trains, Planes and Automobiles - do pop over to the blog to see what the DT have made. In the meantime here is my incorrect card:</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiN3kZ4lbJK_8-IlPtjj6KnFoOkzIQk85_6WCeNDCg5ilzBc48wd9iDwPQUDiMOSZyAjC5VaslYKmSjiEAQQfZlmIKjUeWbFHmlix4WSPGmnFc55PoNY84TBnIjpoY_2xsdoCTifR0Xdmzp8bMRe__Q_pp1GRIaqX28yx7X3fY9hMfOn-NX0yWtVZPJP1hs/s3411/PXL_20240203_235231562.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2423" data-original-width="3411" height="227" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiN3kZ4lbJK_8-IlPtjj6KnFoOkzIQk85_6WCeNDCg5ilzBc48wd9iDwPQUDiMOSZyAjC5VaslYKmSjiEAQQfZlmIKjUeWbFHmlix4WSPGmnFc55PoNY84TBnIjpoY_2xsdoCTifR0Xdmzp8bMRe__Q_pp1GRIaqX28yx7X3fY9hMfOn-NX0yWtVZPJP1hs/s320/PXL_20240203_235231562.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I started by layering a piece of black card onto a white card blank. Our optional theme for February is CAS. We have two sponsors for this challenge - Hetty Claire and Mirtillamente. I have used a Mirtillamente image - <a href="https://www.mirtillamentecraftshop.it/digital-stamps/158-flowerz-flow-no2.html?search_query=flower&results=20" style="background-color: white; color: #3778cd; font-family: helvetica; text-align: center; text-decoration-line: none;">Flowerz #2</a>.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiVWCmOD5VgrP17m16r0_lgFf6nBvEYm7UELeRsPeoKSVlBWzvO7dBkLwVBVZhqmrb6K5bcICU_IsCsBPnK380Js5dY0LwA_-cFNiimY_bUVyiHyu7aKTOajLU1LhWdzUzUwIBk-W8dCm4HuHD5l86eGFUBFYriJ7UKngtslBKEJ0QLkml1bUqgD48hovr/s4032/PXL_20240129_215534611.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiVWCmOD5VgrP17m16r0_lgFf6nBvEYm7UELeRsPeoKSVlBWzvO7dBkLwVBVZhqmrb6K5bcICU_IsCsBPnK380Js5dY0LwA_-cFNiimY_bUVyiHyu7aKTOajLU1LhWdzUzUwIBk-W8dCm4HuHD5l86eGFUBFYriJ7UKngtslBKEJ0QLkml1bUqgD48hovr/s320/PXL_20240129_215534611.jpg" width="240" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I coloured the image using my Chameleon pens and then die-cut using X-cut large labels nesting dies. I used the next size up to cut a matt from patterned paper before layering onto a scalloped base card. Finally I added the peel-off sentiment stickers.<div><br /></div><div>I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:</div><div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://audsentimentschallengeblog.blogspot.com/">audsentiments</a> #310 playing the use dies option</div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://tuesdaytaggers.blogspot.com/">TIOT</a> - hearts or flowers</div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://addictedtostamps-challenge.blogspot.com/">ATSM</a> #461 Make your mark</div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://asyoulikeitchallenge.blogspot.com/">AYLI</a> - digi or stamps - as much as I do love using my stamps, digis are much easier to get right! I layered patterned paper onto a green 6x6 base card, and then matted a corresponding paper onto pink card, to layer onto this. I added a ribbon to the panel before adhering to the card base. I then added a printed sentiment panel.<div><br /></div><div>I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:</div><div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://shoppingourstash.blogspot.com/">SOS</a> #151 Once upon a time (the papers and ribbon are from my stash)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://mytimetocraftchallenge.blogspot.com/">MTTC</a> #525 Something New in your Stash (Image)</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><p>Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog.</p><p>I have now finished watching season 1 of The Mist. I found that it was a great revision of the original story, making it a little more thriller, rather than outright horror. The characters are very easy to dislike, with none of them really making you want them to survive (maybe making it more true to life). However character development through the series is good.</p><p>One thing to note - there is no season two, however the first season leaves you on the edge of the precipice. So if you don't like being left hanging then it is probably best not to watch the series.</p><p><br /></p><p>Hugz Tinz</p></div>Furrbsterhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14762964380259569907noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7894454176179357075.post-31222993659956911452024-01-16T19:54:00.000+00:002024-01-16T19:54:00.154+00:00Blue Birthday<p> They say January is the month of the blues - so I made a blue bird birthday postcard :)</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinx5g2H46zd39IT3wF8HREc0pUiL9K9RDqCE6d3B-utsEcznVMYLfTcJ9tSlut80BE8wQpS1XYZDuIPcEFEkH9WzdH08cDNGZK86Q3nBpwTtpbhx-f9-Lv6oQMYDk8KUQsrF_YgpahFgSRmPc45XdGlKBpaHwvbkH1yDkXFVCr1pfs9TZF2U25qrXpoPPF/s1280/PXL_20240114_220322277.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1280" data-original-width="899" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinx5g2H46zd39IT3wF8HREc0pUiL9K9RDqCE6d3B-utsEcznVMYLfTcJ9tSlut80BE8wQpS1XYZDuIPcEFEkH9WzdH08cDNGZK86Q3nBpwTtpbhx-f9-Lv6oQMYDk8KUQsrF_YgpahFgSRmPc45XdGlKBpaHwvbkH1yDkXFVCr1pfs9TZF2U25qrXpoPPF/s320/PXL_20240114_220322277.jpg" width="225" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I used a holographic birthday card to make the postcard base (it does say happy birthday across the middle). This was all layered onto a purple base card.<br /><p>I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:</p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://thecardconcept.blogspot.com/">TheCardConcept</a> #203 New Year Love (Inspired by the theme)</p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwCxaRL1sVqBIiVlMTC7-8-3YA4vJt96n3hF2LGYMjfgi92aCEDSV1swY3L_F_O4Qi8uK5abxT2NqX_nKAejlZNsWpuLeH6SV6yYoSqaq0WHfDrWiC9WmbwnfHks5vPcdHMGu5OM1SlIoNcY7rYD7YJmT-S-v1qcrGGuLPLxt2oxPxU6SdWB5v_Swm7U6r/s1517/TCC203%20January%202024.jpg" style="background-color: white; color: #25ecd8; font-family: verdana; font-size: 15.84px; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1517" data-original-width="1008" height="293" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwCxaRL1sVqBIiVlMTC7-8-3YA4vJt96n3hF2LGYMjfgi92aCEDSV1swY3L_F_O4Qi8uK5abxT2NqX_nKAejlZNsWpuLeH6SV6yYoSqaq0WHfDrWiC9WmbwnfHks5vPcdHMGu5OM1SlIoNcY7rYD7YJmT-S-v1qcrGGuLPLxt2oxPxU6SdWB5v_Swm7U6r/w195-h293/TCC203%20January%202024.jpg" style="border: none; position: relative;" width="195" /></a></p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://craftycalendarchallenge.blogspot.com/">CraftyCalendar</a> - Anything Goes</p><p style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/wednesdaychallenge/">SimonSaysWednesday</a> - Cute Critter</p><p style="text-align: center;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: left;">I am currently watching Supernatural (which is getting a little far fetched at season 5, but still enjoyable to watch whilst stitching). I am reading Dr Alexander Shulgin's The Nature of Drugs, which I will be aiming to review for you once I have finished it. I am also currently watching 'The Mist' the series, which I am almost at the end of, so I will try and provide a review for that for you in the next few posts.</p><p style="text-align: left;">However, back to the live music bingo. This is a Bingo card with artists/songs or both on there (three rounds - first is songs, second is artists and third was a combination of the two). There is a guitarist that plays the song (just the first 30 secs -1 min) and you have to be the first to shout if you get a line/two lines/full house. So our new challenge over at <a href="https://carabbiemomentsofcraft.blogspot.com/">Creative Moments</a> has the optional theme of 'It's a Wrap'. We want to see gift wrap, or gifts on your creations - or maybe you are wrapping up the year ready for the new one? We cannot wait to see your creativity. Of course you always have the option to play anything goes.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwTEQJzzhLAADexToNjXXQSbK1_vZOMJFM-UOvuHM7kPQU2qxVkwVBsc138CbNNiBbAoB8CCY_jxFYWHx5mbus_iCaKAKRrij31w9grLZrMa4cbHFGkbigB1Dw71xeG9BNXVqFWVkBR7ozXqzxnGrzbvqTEMQ-nHQ9DH5aHwNmPHtFQFktpDXoFKqlRXEj/s3023/PXL_20231209_210257005.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3023" data-original-width="2517" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhwTEQJzzhLAADexToNjXXQSbK1_vZOMJFM-UOvuHM7kPQU2qxVkwVBsc138CbNNiBbAoB8CCY_jxFYWHx5mbus_iCaKAKRrij31w9grLZrMa4cbHFGkbigB1Dw71xeG9BNXVqFWVkBR7ozXqzxnGrzbvqTEMQ-nHQ9DH5aHwNmPHtFQFktpDXoFKqlRXEj/s320/PXL_20231209_210257005.jpg" width="266" /></a></div><div><br /></div>I have used <a href="https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/254962235/christmas-present?click_key=72f1894fa9efc128d8e0ea5827c00a6a38e3f6da%3A254962235&click_sum=6537f754&ref=shop_home_active_50&sts=1" style="color: #2288bb; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; text-align: center; text-decoration-line: none;" target="_blank"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: large;">Christmas Present</span></a> from <a href="https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/alldressedupstamps?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=173019328&from_page=listing" style="background-color: white; color: #3778cd; font-family: helvetica;" target="_blank">All Dressed Up</a>. <br /><p>I coloured her with Promarkers and then fussy cut the image.
