Fairy wishes/Snowflake kisses

Hi there,

I have made a couple of cards tonight, but one has to wait until next week to be revealed. However I can share this one with you today:

I used a 6x6 card blank layered with a free snowflake patterned paper. The image is from A Day for Daisies and was coloured with Promarkers, before die-cutting with X-cut scalloped circle from the nesting dies - I then stamped snowflakes over the flowers using versamark ink and heat embossed with powder puff embossing powder (although it is not easy to see in this picture). A normal circle had been pre-cut frm silver glitter card. I layered these together onto the patterned paper and then used a snowflake washi tape over the panel. Finally I added diamantes and a tag onto which I hand wrote the sentiment - 'Thanking you with snowflake kisses and fairy wishes'.

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges please:

ADFD #158 Two or more layers
dragonfly dreams - With Thanks
Addicted to CAS #103 wish
Addicted to stamps - baby it's cold outside
Die cuttin divas #301 Snowflakes
Catch the bug - Colour challenge

CCEE1704 Snow Season

I would also like to share an update on my height chart - now at just over 18hrs:

One for the Men

Hi there,

Welcome back for a new challenge over at Aud Sentiments. Our challenge theme this time is - MASCULINE PROJECTS - we want to see something for the men in your life. Our sponsor for this challenge is Dr Digi's House Of Stamps

Here is what I cam up with using Brunnhild from the sponsor:
I used:

Papermania metallic markers – promarkers in budding rose, sandstone, pink mittens, antique pink, black
Patterned Papers – Papermania – Signature A Christmas Carol (linen) and Capsule Collection Sunshine.

Dies - Spellbinders fancy oval frame nesting die (smallest and third size)

The card is a tri-fold card, with the front folded back on itself, allowing the inner section to be written on. (Behind the fold rather than on the patterned paper). I liked the 3d effect this gave to my image.

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday #362 Something Fun
Sweet Stampin' - Dies and Punches
OLL #220 For a man/boy
Crafty Calender - Something New (New image and one new promarker colour)

I would also like to share an update on my Xmas Fairy Row @15hrs:

Thank you for looking and I cannot wait to see your creations too!

Treat Yourself!

OK I have decided that I really need to find a longer journey so I can listen to audio books again - or start listening to them whilst working on my computer - then I can at least have some humourous blog post titles! Going to have a busy day tomorrow with a recruitment fair in the morning and then working from 4-11.30pm!! Luckily not in work until 11.30am on Friday though - but OH is up at 6am, so I will definitely be woken up lol.

Anyway, this is my second DT post for today - this time it is for our new challenge over at Creative Moments. Our challenge this time is to keep it feminine - a time for all those boys to delve into their partners stash to make a valentines card maybe?? lol. Our lovely sponsor is Decosse Dynamite Doodles.
Here is what I created with the digital images provided:
I layered all the elements together on the computer before printing out. I wanted to show how you can create a card just using the elements from the digital packages, and so I have not added anything extra. Although thinking about it maybe I should have done the corset paper in a thought bubble shape? hmmm.......

I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:
AHSC Sketch 196
Image may contain: text
MAWTT #37 Swirls and curls (in the backing paper)
Kort o mania #168 Vintage/Shabby Chic
crafting by deisngs - Pink, Pretty and Girlie

I also have a fish tank update for you all:
It would be great to see you join us in keeping things feminine,

A summer walk

Hi there,

It is time for a new challenge at I Love Promarkers!! Our challenge this time is a nice easy one - Anything Goes - just remember to use your Promarkers/Felxmarkers/Aquamarkers or Triamarkers. Our sponsors for this challenge are The Paper Shelter

Here is my creation using A summer Walk, provided kindly by the sponsor:
I layered the digi image onto the provided background before printing out. I then coloured her with the following Promarkers – hair – peach, sunkissed pink, Flame Red (AM); skin – dusky pink, pastel pink, dusky rose; others - poppy, pink lobster, ruby, primrose. Metallic green.
I cut around the background slightly and adhered to a patterned card front. I added a flower (Spellbinders flower dies and new glitter card) with a diamante centre and the sentiment, from a free set with Creative Stamping, in blue ink. (I should have moved the sentiment down slightly as I now think it would have looked better underneath the heart).

I would also like to add this card to the following challenges:
polkadoodle - use a die
sweet stampin' - dies and punches
PFP 379 Feminine Fancy
Casology #223 Glisten
ATSM #226 Anything Goes

I also have an update on my fish tank - now at 133 hours:
Please check back later for another DT creation!!

Life in a Nutshell

Oh if only life were that simple lol. This little hedgehog certainly thinks it is however.

This hedgehog took 2.5 hours to stitch and is a Margaret Sherry Sketchbook design from Cross Stitcher 227. I then bordered it with pink glitter washi tape and created a 3D flower using X-cut 3D flower die and pink glitter card (both washi tape and glitter card were new). I then added a wooden hedgehog embellishment (bought in the sales) and a brthday sentiment.

This is winging its way to America for one of the lovely ladies that I exchange ATC's with, and I am in the process of making another one for the next birthday too! I hope she likes him as much as I do!

I would like to enter this creation into the following challenges:
Glitter 'n' Sparkle #223 Four legged friends
Winterwonderland - Spring Fever
Avenue 613 #193 Totally technical (cross-stitching)

Oooh I have tomato flowers on my windowsill plants - they have been kept going all over Winter!! Now to see if I can acctually manage to get a crop from them lol:
I also need to sow my sweet pea seeds - a trip to the garden centre may be required this weekend!

Finally, here we have a dino update - 17hr11 for dino 2:
Thans for stopping by and do drop by tomorrow for two new DT projects!

Flying High and Sunshine Blooms ATC's

Hello there,

Apparently we might actually be getting Winter temperatures over the weekend in the UK! It is no wonder people get ill all the time with the way the weather fluctuates -Winter weather in Winter please lol.

I have created the first of my ATC cards for 2017! The duo are the first collection, which I have named Flying High, to send out in return for ATC's from others, of which I have already received one!:
So for this collection I used a digital Adam Pescott image as the main focus of the cards. I then added a sentiment from a stamp set free with creative Stamping magazing. To finish I simply added gems and a butterfly sticker.

I would like to enter these cards for the following challenges:
Show us your pussies #14 Furrything Goes
Winterwonderland - Spring Fever
inkspirational #126 Flutter

And this card is to be sent out for a birthday (along with matching card to follow in a later post):
For this card I just used the stapms from the Creative Stamping set and various colours of Pretty Colour inks.

This particular card is to be entered into the following challenges:
ATSM #225 Photo Inpsiration (Flower and colours)

MMM #37 A Winters Walk (flowers picked to bring out the sunshine :])
The Card Concept #65 Fresh and Bold (CAS)

Crafting by designs - Anything Goes

I also thought you might like to see the balloon rabbit I managed to make from some balloon modelling crackers lol:

Finally here is my update on the height chart - dino #2 is now at 17hrs

Idris @ Yule

Hi there,

I decided to try and combine a couple of random challenges today to create my card, which is here:

As you can see I have made a tri-fold card from a piece of A4 green card stock. I embossed the front and back panels (in the same direction) using a new snowflake embossing folder from Dovecraft. I then decorated the front panel with a die-cut from a My Minds Eye christmas paper pack using a free flower nesting die, a poinsettia cut using Britannia poinsettia die in two sizes on pink floral paper and adding a Papermania Neon centre and a Me To You sentiment tag peel-off on a die-cut tag from the My Minds Eye paper. The back panel on the same side was embellished with the same poinsettia, this time cut from a red patterned paper from the y Minds Eye paper stack, with the neon centre, a stamped Idris the dragon, from Ivor the Engine on the same paper and a die-cut flower from the inside of the flower nesting die, with a fabric gingham flower in the centre topped with a red gem flower too.
The other side was embellished using gold peel-offs and Idris stamps on the red My Minds Eye paper. On the reverse of the front panel I used a sentiment with flowers, with a pinsettia frame around an Idris on the centre, along with an Idris on the top, where he will be seen when the card is standing upright, and an Idris and Poinsettia stem on the final side.

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:
Die-cuttin' Divas #229 Dragons
CCEE1702 Tri-fold cards
craftyhazelnut christmas #316 Feature a creature
moving along with the time #36 Something in the air
hanna and friends #264 Christmas
abc christmas - A For Anything Goes
sweet stampin' Christmas - Anything Goes

I also thought you would like to see the balloon animals we made for my birthday before Christmas:

And also a couple of final pictures from Christmas:
