Vintage Christmas

 Well I think stained glass is pretty vintage anyway, so I went with it.

I inked an embossing folder with gold papermania dye ink and then embossed a card blank. The folder I used looks like it could be frost creeping onto a pane of glass so I thought it was great for a stained glass centrepiece. I then added the topper to the centre and a die-cut gold sentiment to the top.

A circle in a square

 Hi guys,

Our new optional theme over at I Love Promarkers is 'Make it Square'. As I was following a sketch for this one, I decided to use a square card, but place the image into a circle within the square base.

Our sponsor for this challenge is one I haven't worked with before - Ching-Chou Kuik and I have used Hummingbirds.

Promarkers used - Hair - Orchid, Amethyst and Winter Berry. - skin - Pastel Beige and March Hair. - hummingbirds - Forest Green, Island Lagoon, Amethyst and Metallic Green. others - Metallic Gold, Lime Zest, Marine, Salmon Pink, Carmine and Hot Pink.

The sketch I followed is from CheerfulSketches.

Christmas leaves

 hi guys,

I decided to go a bit obscure for the leaves theme and I used a poinsettia die-cut, as a poinsettia is just red leaves :D

I used some Antia's holographic sticker sheets to die-cut the poinsettias from in three different colours. I then simply added a sentiment peel-off in black.

colormyheart #462 Tic-Tac-Toe (using bottom row - nectarine at the bottom, papaya in the middle and mink at the top - the holographic nature of the stickers does make the colour look a little different but I promise the top one isn't blue, but rather a grey/silver)

Gorjuss leaves

 Hi all,

I have a new card to share with you all today - and as the weather has turned I thought an Autumn themed card was suitable.

I stamped the image onto white card using black Primal Ink and coloured her with watercolour pencils. I then tried to cut a hexagon (badly). I then took a piece of embossed paper and again cut a hexagon to try and match the first one. I used a patterned base card and added some feathers in the corners. Then I placed glitter ribbon and an orange bow before layering the image onto the card base. Finally I added buttons into three of the four corners.

Red Deer

Hi guys

It is time for a new challenge over at I Love Promarkers. As always we are anything goes, but the optional theme for this time is monochromatic. We are sponsored by IkesArt for this one.

I coloured the image using a variety of brown promarkers. I then layered the image onto two different red/brown patterned papers to make a simple card.

llama delight @ Creative Moments

 Hi guys,

I have used Linda the Llama from our lovely sponsor Patties Creations.

I coloured her using watercolour pencils and then layered onto Papermania linen Christmas paper. I blended distress inks over the background and then added the image panel and a sentiment.

 Hi guys,

I have another quick and easy card to share with you today.

I used a papermania journalling topper and hand wrote the 'kindness' sentiment. I then stamped two dogs onto the bottom, with the 'woof' sentiment between them. I coloured the dogs using papermania watercolour pens.

Under the Sea for MAWTT

 I am so sorry - I lost track of time!

We have an under the sea theme over at Moving Along With The Times this month, chosen by Zoe.

Here is my creation, using a hunkydory backing paper and a digi stamp from my stash.

The image was coloured with Promarkers and then fussy cut to layer onto the hunkydory background. A nice easy card but I didn't want to make it over busy. Sentiment has been left off for now until a suitable occasion is determined.

AYLI - fav wild animal - fish are really interesting to observe in the wild, and their natural environment can be super pretty too - especially tropical guys like this one.
