Wedding period

 Hi all,

We had a new challenge start yesterday over at Moving Along with the Times, with the theme of Wedding or Anniversary, as it is once again that time of year :)

I used a cross stitched cupcake and simply added some foam hearts and a bell, and a wedding peel-off.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
CraftyCalendar - Anything Goes
AYLI - I usually prefer patterned papers as they add a little something to an otherwise plain card
AddictedtoCAS #241 Celebration

I also have another book review for you.

Hard Road by J.B. Turner

Jon Reznick works as an assassinator for the American government. He has military training and experience which makes him ideal for the job. He is still grieving for the loss of his wife in the 9/11 attacks when he gets a call for a target – all he knows is it must look like a suicide, and the name of the target. Everything is going to plan, until Reznick realises the man in the room is not the target he has been allocated, and there is an FBI agent dead in the next room. Reznick informs his handler and starts running with the intended victim. However, there seems to be somebody waiting for him every step of the way. When they take his daughter, he must start to rely on more than just the military training, and he must also figure out who he can trust.

The FBI are also working a case – that of the missing doctor that Reznick nearly assassinated. They want him back and are willing to do anything to ensure his safety, including help Reznick find his daughter. This brings them into close proximity and has them working together to bring down the terrorist threat on the country.

You get to see into the mind of a hit-man when he realises things are not going right, and the twists in this story keep you guessing. You also get some insight about the main character for the terrorist cell as some chapters focus on him, and how similar what he is doing is to what Reznick also does. A fast paced, action-packed story that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Thanks for looking,

Hugz Tinz
