I coloured the image with watercolour pencils and highlighted areas with DoCrafts Glitter Markers. I cut a textured piece of green paper to look like grass and added this to the bottom of the card. Then I cut a wavy piece from gold glitter cardstock, to resemble the yellow brick road (or more like gravel in this case - small bricks?). I fussy cut the bottom of the image and then overlaid this onto a scalloped circle from X-cut nesting dies. I used the next die up on old glitter cardstock to create a shine behind the lion. To finish I hand wrote the sentiment onto the green paper (which is difficult to see in the photo) - 'Have courage to follow your yellow brick road'.
Check out the Creative Moments blog for more creations from this range - and also a chance to win a lovely die, just by giving us your opinions.
