What a weird weekend this has been - nice sunny and hot, and then suddenly it gets dark and the heavens open. Luckily I have been back from the allotment both days and so avoided getting too wet! I collected a full punnet of Blackberries yesterday and dug up some more potatoes today, and collected my first tomatoes (I grow mine outdoors). I also watched a female Southern Hawker ovipositing on the plank of wood in my mini pond today, and saw my first speckled wood of this year at my other allotment yesterday, which was very exciting!
Now onto my Birthday ATC set I have made. I only used the base card and some peel-offs for these.
I used a cream base card and added some border stickers down the left side. I then layered some glittered present stickers, and the swirls from the red present as streamers. I added the sentiment underneath and then used plain border peel-offs to frame the presents.
This matching ATC was done on a white base, and the remaining parts of the border peel-offs was used down the side. Again I layered some of the glitter presents, but this time I used the flowers from the present on the card, and the stars from the gold present, to make the card feel very celebratory.
Here is the two of them together!
I would like to enter these for the following challenges:
Simply Less is Moore #291 Sticker, sticky label or peel-off
Kort O mania #158 Birthday
Avenue 613 #188 Anything Goes
Here are some more woolly critters from the Woodland Trail:
And I have a new temporary friend!! He is unable to fly yet and it appears his parents have abandoned him so we are feeding him in the garden and keeping an eye on him!
