Railway to Challenge #100 at Creative Moments!

Hi there,

I am posting a little earlier than usual today as I am having to stay in Cambridge later than usual this evening. We have a new challenge for you over at Creative Moments today - and it is challenge number 100!!! This time there is no twist - so shows us anything you have got :D.

We have two sponsors this week Bloobel and Creative Bug. Please see the challenge post for details on the prizes. I have used Baking Lesson from Creative Bug for my shaker card this time:

I used a polka dot base card, which came with a free cross stitch kit. I coloured the image with Promarkers and then die-cut the image into a star. I made the mount out of silver card, cut with the same Nellie Snellin star die, and the large circle. I added acetate and glitter to make the shaker topper. I would advise lining this up on your card base to get it straight, as mine is slightly off!

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
PFP #359 For the boys
Modsquad - The die's the thing
C4C349 - Back to school (learning to cook lol)
Digichooseday - Anything Goes
I love Promarkers #315 Birthday
Live and Love crafts #50 Happy Birthday/Anniversary

Audiobook Review

Railway to the Grave by Edward Marston
When a well-respected Colonel commits suicide by walking down the railway tracks towards on oncoming train the metropolitan police become involved to find out exactly what has happened. The Colonel’s wife had recently disappeared and some people believe that the Colonel killed her, and he killed himself through guilt. It is the job of the famous railway detective and his inspector to get to the bottom of the missing persons case, as well as to discover the real reason for the Colonel’s suicide. This is a well-written crime story, with several twists and many people who seem mean-spirited because of their beliefs. The two policemen play well off each other making the story quite fun, without detracting from the fact that it is a crime story. All-in-all a good book to listen to.

P.S, pop back tomorrow for my first challenge as a DT member for Aud Sentiments challenge blog.
