Rocking into Spring

 Hi everyone,

I am just posting a reminder for our 'interactive' challenge over at Creative Moments. For this reminder post I did a slightly different interactive card - I made a rocker card.

I used a Kit and Clowder tutorial to colour the image from Sheepski with watercolour pencils. I really like the way this has turned out, although the flower petals would have been better had I had a couple of different shades of purple. I die-cut the image into a scalloped circle as the topper for the rocker card, which is basically made from a circle, or an oval, folded in half to make the card base, which allows the card to rock slightly.

Dotty for I Love Promarkers

 Happy Thursday

Our new challenge started yesterday at I Love Promarkers with the optional theme of going dotty (add some dots).

I used a stencil on a 4x6 base card with distressed ink in China Blue, Mermaid Lagoon and Carved Pumpkin to make the background. 

I coloured the image using the following Promarkers - carmine, royal blue, cornflower, sandstone, honeycomb, umber, caramel and tawny owl. I then fussy cut the image before adding to the card. Finally I found a sentiment in my stash that matched and added it to the bottom.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

All shook up!!

 Our first actual challenge of 2023 has started over at Creative Moments, with a fun optional theme of Interactive Elements!

I have made a shaker card using "Bear Love" from our sponsor Sheepski.

I used a triple aperture card to make this shaker - coloured the bear with watercolour pencils, adhered to the inner panel with acetate layered over the aperture hole. I then used 3D foam pads to create a pocket and added heart sequins. Finally I added stickers to the outside.

You're amoosing

 Ok so that sentiment isn't actually on my card - but I really wish it was now!!

This is my new DT card for the challenge that started today over at I Love Promarkers, which has the optional theme of animals.

Of course as always you can play anything goes but please make sure you have used promarkers somewhere on your card. Our sponsor is Dr Digi'sHouse Of Stamps and I have used Cuddly critters cow.

Firstly I coloured the image using promarkers (although I didn't make a note of which ones!). Then I die-cut the image using my X-cut scalloped circle nesting dies. I 'painted' the card base with a metallic sunset pink from the Range before layering the image onto it. I then used two covered chipboard butterflies for the top corners, to frame the cow.

our memories

 I have been playing around with one of the Dr Digi images I have in my stash, and I came up with this idea for a card.

Firstly I layered green card and a yellow patterned paper onto a scalloped base card.

Next I coloured the image using promarkers before fussy cutting this out. I then stuck a chipboard frame over the image to frame the faces of the two characters. To finish I added an 'our memories' scrapbook sentiment.

Numbers

 Hi all,

It is February already!! This means it is time for a new challenge over at Moving Along With The Times. The theme this month is chosen by Diane and she has gone with Numbers.

I used a floral paper for the base of my card and then layered a plain white panel with a number peel-off, onto a bright blue panel - cut using the stitched square nesting dies from the Works. I then used a patterned paper strip that looked almost the inverse of the backing paper. Finally I added a chipboard sentiment that I painted with metallic pale blue ink from the Range.
