Birthday Lord

Here is my second DT post for today. This time I am letting you know about our new challenge over at Creative Moments. As usual the theme is anything goes, but our optional twist for this challenge is BIRTHDAY!! So a nice easy twist for those of you who like to play the twist :D

Our sponsors for this challenge are Creative Bug and My Stitch Back In twine. For my creation I have used an image from the lovely Kristyn who runs My Stitch Back in Twine - Birthday Charlee.

I used a mirri card base card and coloured the image with promarkers before layering it at an angle. I used some flower die-cuts and a leaf die-cut to decorate the card adding a gem to the centre of the large flower and stamping the small flower and the leaf.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
SOS #305 You are so sweet (stamped die-cuts from my stash)

Here I have an update on my fishtank from last week:
It is almost there now!! A few more Greens, blues and browns and then the backstitch to do whoop!

My hubby bought some pixel art keyrings when we went to the craft show last month and here is what he has made:
And here is mine:
Which was made to look like Tubs -

And I have the second book review (I haven't gotten hold of book number 3 yet though).

Tower Lord by Anthony Ryan
This is the second book in the trilogy. This book continues on from where the last book left off. Vaelin has had time to attune his gift but wishes to lead a quiet life on return to his kingdom. Frentis on the other hand is dreading returning home and what this will mean for himself. Reva has set herself a mission to finish the Darkblade once and for all, and Princess Lyrna is on a quest for the realm. Although apart these four have a major role to play to keep the Realm safe from the largest attack it has ever faced.
This book is written from the perspective of four different people unlike the first book. This allows a greater scope to be available for the reader and allows several different threads to be followed within the story. It also allows the reader to imagine the advance of the enemy throughout the realm, rather than being limited to one small conflict. The story from the first book is explored more deeply, but the tension and intrigue are still there, again making it a difficult book to put down.

Thank you for looking,
