Blue Thanks

 This is the card I made for the reminder post at Creative Moments, using Flowerz: flow #2 from Mirtillamente.

I used information from Kit and Clowder classes to colour the image with Promarkers (although you probably can't tell as I didn't do great)!

I then die-cut the image, and a piece of pink card that I had already blended some Distress inks over part of, using M&C stitched edge square dies. I added these at angles onto the speckled card base. Finally I stamped the sentiment using a free stamp set and Whispers blue ink.

At the beach with I Love Promarkers

 Hi guys,

We have a new challenge started today over at I Love Promarkers, where you can now join in using any markers that you own. Our optional theme this time is Beside the Sea.

This challenge is sponsored by the Paper Nest Dolls Digis and I have used an image they gave away free in a magazine.

I decided to use a gift card holder from Papermania Capsule Collection (Geometric). I added some washi tape to appear like waves, and a whale topper that also came free with a magazine. I fussy cut the image after colouring and layered over the waves. Finally I added a foiled sentiment topper.

I used the following promarkers - cool grey 1 and 3 and 5, warm grey 4, mustard, yellow, daffodil bloom, primrose, indigo blue, china blue, poppy, pale pink and soft peach.

Special Lady at Creative Moments

 So it is soon going to be Mother's Day here in the UK, so our optional theme for this month over at Creative Moments, is to make something to celebrate a special lady. 

I have used Beach Ready from All Dressed Up for my card.

I coloured the image using watercolour pencils and then die cut using X-cut ovals die. I layered some patterned papers that came free with a magazine onto the card front, after rounding the edges of the purple paper with my corner punch. I covered the overlap using blue wave washi tape. Finally I cut out a flower to use as the sun and added the sentiment.

Flowers

 Hi all,

We have a new challenge starting today over at I Love Promarkers, with the optional twist of 'add a flower' Also, we are no longer going to be exclusively for promarkers, but you can enter if you have coloured your image with any kind of marker.

I coloured the image (Flowery from our sponsor Ching-chou Kwik) with a variety of pink and purple promarkers before fussy cutting. I then layered this onto two die-cut circles of patterned paper. I layered these onto an ombre card base. To finish I added the flower toppers, butterfly chipboard and sentiment topper.

For the [late] girls

 Hi all,

It is March already and spring is around the corner! Our new challenge at MAWTT is 'for the ladies/girls' as chosen by Diane.

I coloured the image with Promarkers before die-cutting with a stitched square die from M&C. I used an edging punch for the pattern down the sides. Finally I added a handwritten 'I'm late' sentiment.
