A little fishy @ Aud Sentiments

Hi guys,

We have our first challenge of 2020 started at Aud Sentiments today! We are starting you off with an easy one - theme of Anything Goes - just remember to add that sentiment.

We have been sponsored by the lovely Fabrika Fantasy for this challenge, and I have used Beta Fish for my card.

I used the precoloured image and a hunkydory card kit for this one. I fussy cut the image and folded the patterned card so that the front was a cm shorter than the back. I then added the fussy cut image to overlap the edge. Finally I added two toppers and a sentiment border from the kit.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
inkspirational #204 fauna
TIOT - white space or colourful grunge (I went for grunge)
CuteCardThursday #618 Green

Thanks for looking and we cannot wait to see what you create.

Underwater wishes

Hi guys,

So first of - I have done it! My hair is all gone and I have almost reached my target for the Bumblebee Conservation trust!

 Before
 During - I look about 3 here!
After!

I would like to thank my lovely barber - Angelo - for doing this free of charge - the money has been donated into the JustGiving fund!

Anyway - I do also have a card to share with you, for a belated birthday.

I used the hunkydory silhouette collection and a blue base card. I added the toppers on foam pads to make them stand out a bit more.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
The Library Challenge #38 Gift from the sea
TheMaleRoom #116 Surf's up
craftycalender - Anything Goes

Thanks for looking,

Under the sea

So it is father's day here in the UK. I did make cards for everybody, but then I moved my craft room and the cards disappeared. So I made a new one for Father-in-law:

I needed to make this card reasonably quickly, so I stenciled the background using a black glitter paste, purposefully going over the edges in places to give a bit of a distressed effect. I am starting to think I should have made it a little more pronounced or just not bothered at all - what do you all think?

I then added a hunkydory topper, peel-offs and some pearls.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
modsquad - Masculine Nautical
badge-top3
craftycatz #466 Male/Father's Day
SOS #397 Stencil me this
TIOT - It's a mans world
dragonflydreams - For a man/boy
notjustcards - Anything goes

I also have a video of Henry to share with you :)

Also some pictures - firstly of me after sanding back a chair that I am upcycling:
And then Togo and Doris:

Togo is a H.maculata tarantula spiderling, but he is a reasonable size now. We have had him since mid January when he was only about 1cm legspan. He is now much bigger and rather fluffy :)

Thanks for looking,
