Under the sea

So it is father's day here in the UK. I did make cards for everybody, but then I moved my craft room and the cards disappeared. So I made a new one for Father-in-law:

I needed to make this card reasonably quickly, so I stenciled the background using a black glitter paste, purposefully going over the edges in places to give a bit of a distressed effect. I am starting to think I should have made it a little more pronounced or just not bothered at all - what do you all think?

I then added a hunkydory topper, peel-offs and some pearls.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
modsquad - Masculine Nautical
badge-top3
craftycatz #466 Male/Father's Day
SOS #397 Stencil me this
TIOT - It's a mans world
dragonflydreams - For a man/boy
notjustcards - Anything goes

I also have a video of Henry to share with you :)

Also some pictures - firstly of me after sanding back a chair that I am upcycling:
And then Togo and Doris:

Togo is a H.maculata tarantula spiderling, but he is a reasonable size now. We have had him since mid January when he was only about 1cm legspan. He is now much bigger and rather fluffy :)

Thanks for looking,

Ombre Baubles

Hi guys,

I have a CAS Christmas card to share with you today, playing with my Chameleon pens again :)

So I used my Colour Tones Green with the Colour Tops Green/Yellow to make an ombre coloured bauble - stamped from a free stamp set. I used gold paint on the top of the bauble. I think I maybe needed to infuse the pen a little more with the second green - what are your opinions?

Finally I added a peel-off sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Christmas@SweetStampin' - Include some stamping
ABC Christmas - H for Hang it up
Addicted to CAS #156 Ombre
ATSM #335 Photo inspiration

Thanks for looking,
