Hi guys,
I have an underwater themed card to share with you today.
We have a new challenge starting today at I Love Promarkers, with the optional theme of Use only squares. So I got confused and thought it was just use squares, hence mine is not only squares.
I made a little scene using distress inks and patterned papers alongside Dr Digi'sHouse Of Stamps (the current sponsor) Cuddly critters Squirrel. I coloured the image using the following promarkers - Oatmeal; Baby Pink; Egg Nog; equila Sunrise and Cool Grey 5.
I used Cracked Sapphire, Mermaid Lagoon, Broken China and Spun Sugar for the sky. The papers were from Craft Sensations 10x10cm stacks.

I have been upcycling one of the frame cases that the wooden embellishments come in. As I keep a lot of inverts as pets I thought this frame would be great to use to display some of those that have passed away.
I layered the squares with leaf or wood patterned papers so I could have them looking like they are out in nature. There are two Death's Head Hawk moths on the top, several jumping spiders, or two different species, a pill bug and a little cobalt blue tarantula. I did try to fit my H.maculata tarantula on here also, but she is a little too big.Happy Easter all,
We have a new challenge started today over at Creative Moments, with the optional theme this month of Things with Wings, as it is now Spring after all!
We only have the one sponsor for this challenge - Mirtillamente.
For my card I used Flow No 2, printed them out in two different orientations, and paper pieced them. I did colour the leaves of the butterfly patterned paper flowers using watercolour pencils. I then die-cut these using X-cut scalloped circles die and trimmed to fit into the corners of a 6x6" card. I then used Dreams sentiment and an M&C stitched square die to make the sentiment panel. Finally I added a 3D butterfly.

Hi guys,
We had a new challenge start today over at I Love Promarkers, with the optional theme of paper piecing.
I paper pieced the outfit and then coloured the rest of the image using the following promarkers:Hi guys,
I want to share with you the cross stitch I made to go with a photo of my mums old cat Purrdy in a little hanger for her.
I haven't got the frame fully made up as yet, but I will share it when it is ready - I just wanted to share my stitching at the moment.Hi guys,
I have a Christmas card to share with you all today - slimline and using stencils (It didn't work very well though).
I used a stencil set that came free with a Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine. In the bottom right I used a snowflake corner with Cosmic Shimmer metallic gilding wax. Unfortunately as this has aged it has gotten slightly stickier and so it didn't work very well through the stencil - therefore I blended this out onto the centre of the card. I used the same wax for the bow at the top of the card. Then I used a metallic ink pad and a blending sponge to stencil the bauble onto the card, finishing with a peel-off sentiment. Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog post,

Hi guys,
Just a reminder that we do still have our special female optional challenge going on over at Creative Moments, so if you are making Mother's Day cards do drop them in. We also have a DT call - pop over to the blog and take a look.
Here are my reminder cards:
Hi everybody,
It was my turn to choose the theme for this month over at MAWTT and I chose Baby Animals. Only once I started to make my card did I realise that it can be quite difficult to ensure it is obvious that it is a baby animal on the card lol. So I cheated and used eggs instead.
I used some papers that came free with CardMaking Magazine. I die-cut both using X-cut scalloped circles nesting dies and layered the nest with eggs on top of the bird using 3D tape.

Hi guys,
We had a new challenge start on Wednesday over at I Love Promarkers. I was away for work and so couldn't update my blog :o.
Our optional twist is to use a die-cut or punch on your project, however you can play anything goes.

Unfortunately I don't think this horse is available to purchase anymore as I cannot find it in the store.
I coloured the horse using carnival style colours from my Promarker collection. I then die-cut the image using the X-cut large label nesting dies. I had a butterfly (not sure of make) and vine leaves (Marianne Creatables) already cut in my stash in relevant colours, so I used these to frame the image. Finally I simply added a sentiment from my stash.
