I have a Christmas card to share with you all today - slimline and using stencils (It didn't work very well though).
I used a stencil set that came free with a Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine. In the bottom right I used a snowflake corner with Cosmic Shimmer metallic gilding wax. Unfortunately as this has aged it has gotten slightly stickier and so it didn't work very well through the stencil - therefore I blended this out onto the centre of the card. I used the same wax for the bow at the top of the card. Then I used a metallic ink pad and a blending sponge to stencil the bauble onto the card, finishing with a peel-off sentiment.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog post,
Such a pretty clean and simple design. Your stenciling is just fabulous!! Lots of fabulous work here, thanks so much for playing along with us for the last time over at the Mod Squad. I am very sad that we are retiring, it has been a great ride. Hope to see you around the web!!ReplyDelete
