Golden Heights

Hello from very windy Wales! Wow is it cold and windy, and our heating has just decided it doesn't want to work! Not brilliant when we have a living room full of inverts, snakes and beardies - all that want an ambient room temperature of about 20-23 degrees!! Luckily we have a little fan heater, but it is not ideal at all.

I have made a card today to try and remember that Spring is coming and there should be some calmer weather with it! However, saying that I did see a bumblebee trying to fly in the storm today (I think it ended up sheltering under my hanging basket plant).

I got the die-cut card blank from a shop near me called buyology, which I only found a couple of months ago. The quality is not fantastic, but you can work with it, and they are really pretty. I added some Anita's gold card to the inside panel to make the butterflies pop. I then die-cut the dragonfly (Creative Dies) from handmade textured pale gold paper which was in my stash. Finally I added an Anita's peel-off sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
IkesWorld #118 C for CAS
TIOT - inspired by a word 'Golden'
CuteCardThursday #572 Anything Goes

Thanks for taking the time to visit my blog,
