I have used Summer Kitten 2 for my card:
OK so I have used a wooden umbrella (as a sun shade of course), a wave and seagull topper, and then a sentiment topper too. It is a very beach inspired card this time, probably because I wish that is where I was lol. I coloured the image with the following Promarkers - Tulip Yellow, Pastel Pink, Sandstone, Warm Grey 1, Cocoa and Grass.
I would like to add this into the following challenges:
A Snowflakes Promise #52 Anything Goes
City Crafter #418 Seaside
PFP #450 Weather
SUYP #31 Furrything Goes
I also have some more of my balcony plants to share with you:
I am not sure why the plants do not fill out here quite as well as elsewhere. I am going to try a seaweed based feed on them later tonight and see if that helps at all.
And here is another audiobook review at long last:
Monstrous Regiment by Terry Pratchett
This is a story about an army for a small country? that has
a God that makes EVERYTHING an abomination, and doesn’t feel that it is being
productive unless it is engaged in war with somebody. Ankh Morpork have sent
Vimes to try and stop the war before too many people lose their lives. However,
this story is not actually set around Vimes, but rather around a small force of
unusual troops for the attacking army. Each of the unusual characters has a
reason for wanting to join the army at a time when nobody is volunteering due
to the lack of men coming home. The sergent, Jackram, is a very loud and
obnoxious man, but will do anything to make his ‘little lads’ good fighters and
also keep them safe. He is also quite quick at discerning what people are and
what it is that they want, and often uses this to his advantage.
As usual this is a very amusing story with some fun twists,
some outlandish happenings (not to mention outlandish characters) and Terry did
a great job in just keeping you interested right to the very end. This is
another one of those stories that I cannot read, but can quite happily listen
to it on audio, so I would recommend giving it a try even if you are not usual
into Terry Pratchetts books. Very light-hearted and humorous.
Anyway, thanks for looking and I cannot wait to see what embellishments you choose to use on your creation,
