Rural Wreath

Hi there,

What a lovely weekend it has been - all the more so as I booked Friday off work, so a long weekend for me. I di have to drive out to Ledbury with OH so he could collect his new bike, hence taking the time off work, but we did manage to find some time to try out a new reserve, and I saw new butterflies in the garden and had a little time to relax lol.

I decided to make a Christmas card, with a bit of a difference. I wanted a countryside feel to the card, so went for a wreath of general leaves in Christmas colours, rather than using traditional Christmas leaves:

I used Crafters Companion leaf die-cutters and a variety of festive papers and card. I stamped the sentiment from the Papermania 'Sleigh' stamp set using red pretty colour ink and then arrange the various leaves around this sentiment in a wreath shape.

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:
Dragonfly Dreams - Anything Goes
inkychicks #85 Christmas
inkspirational #138 Rural
MTTC #349 Christmas in July
Merry Monday #255 - previous challenge (244 Wreath)

Simba has been enjoying the nice weather - he gets really excited when playing outside, which is lovely as he is quite a lazy lizard now he is on his own:

I also have a fish tank update for you:
Thank you for looking at my blog once again,

  1. Your wreath is gorgeous; a great way to stretch your leaf dies! So thrilled you shared this in the Inkspirational Rural challenge!
I'm quite intrigued with your fish tank; is that cross-stitch? Soooo lovely and detailed!
