Daffodill Delights

Hello there everybody,

Looks like a reasonably nice day today, so we went out to see some butterflies. We have the in-laws staying for the weekend, but the grandparents are with them too, so it is a little bit manic. However, I have been provided with plenty more craft papers, so will have lots to play with lol.

I made a couple of cards last night, which used a pre-perforated card base. I popped the pieces out and then adhered them to the panel that backs the aperture through the oval frame, before popping the oval frame out. This ensured that the pieces sat correctly. Then I used the oval frame to make a second card.

Here is the first one - white only!!:
I added a ribbon bow to finish and then added the sentiment to the inside of the card:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
CRAFT #422 Add ribbon and sparkle (sparkle inside on sentiment)
AYLI - Favourite way to add ribbon is as a bow as it can be a striking feature, or just an addition
Addicted to CAS #114 White on white

Here is the second of the cards:
I added fairy peel-offs and a floral sentiment tag for this one and would like to enter it into the following challenge:
MMM #49 Summer Brights

And both cards are suitable for these challenges too:
Catch The Bug - Anything Goes
Crafty Calender - Anything Goes

Here are a few random wildlife pictures for you all:

Thanks for looking,

  1. Hi Tinz,
I really love your card. Your design is lovely and your bow is beautiful. Unfortunately your entry is not White on White as per the requirements of this challenge but I hope to see you play along next time. Thanks for joining us at ATCAS.

    1. What did I do wrong? I find white-on-white quite difficult but thought I had it right with this one so any help is appreciated,

      Thank you

    2. Hello again Tinz,
It looks like I owe you an apology. On my screen your card looks tan and we were asking for white, but since white, ecru and tan are all in the white family, I sincerely apologize for my note to you!
Again, I want to thank you for playing along with us at ATCAS...we love seeing your creations in the challenge gallery and I hope you'll continue to join us in future challenges!

    3. Ah that makes sense now then lol - I would completely agree that tan is not white! At least I know I did manage to get it right - usually when I try white on white the image gets lost or the card just doesn't have a finished feel :)

  7. Same basic supplies used but very different looks achieved. The white on white one is very elegant and delicate, perfect for any occasion. The yellow one is summery and sweet with those little fairies. Thanks for sharing your work, good luck in the challenge! Pia, Catch the Bug DT
