Ladybird Tower

Hi guys,

Wow my new job is really wearing me out at the moment! I am coming home and I am hardly able to keep my eyes open. Not good when I have so much to do before we go away next week! Looks like Saturday will be a very busy day for me if I am going to be doing everything I should have done yesterday, today and tomorrow too lol. Animals to clean, floors to sweep and mop, or vac and clothes to wash (well actually I have put these in tonight lol).

However I did play with a new card fold and my dies and this is what I created:

So this is a 'tower-fold' card and it was featured in a recent issue of Quick Cards, so I thought I would give it a go. I used a free butterfly die for one side panel and a self-adhesive leaf lace for the other which I topper with a 3D flower made of a few die-cut flowers layered together. I added washi tape and butterfly self-adhesive ribbons to the centre strips and then added die-cut ladybirds, another free gift, to the popped forward strips. I added rub-on words to a die-cut shape and then embellished with gems and more die-cut flowers.

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:
Simon says Monday - Handmade flowers
CAGI - Things with wings
TIOT - The lady in red (ladybird)
MAWTT #41 Handmade/die-cut flowers
inkychicks #80 Flowers
open-minded crafting #15 Movement (the card folds so the ladybirds pop-out)

Here is a fish tank update too - 139hrs:
Thank you for looking and remember to check back next week for my DT creations!!
