House Mouse creations!

Hello there,

I got a House Mouse CD-Rom at the beginning of the week and so I decided to have a play. I love these little mice (as you have probably guessed from my wedding invites), and they make such sweet cards!

First I did a 'Singing in the Rain' card:

I used the base image from the decoupage section just on its own as a basic topper. I matted it onto a green gingham paper from the Papermania Country Life collection, which I wrapped with a dark green layered with lime green ribbon. I fussy cut the sentiment topper from the decoupage selection and added this to the ribbon with 3D foam pads. Finally I added two green flowers and a green butterfly.

And here is the second card I made:

This time I did decoupage elements of the image to make the mice stand out a little more. I love all the bubbles and the fact they are bathing in the cats bowl lol. I stamped images using Dovecraft Indigo ink and stamps that came free with a magazine (Wildflower stamps).

I have also taken a photograph of Purrdy's planter a month after first planting it up and here it is:

It is looking great now and filling out nicely - there are some summer flowering bulbs in there too, so as the Primula's die back the bulbs should start to take their place.
