Springtime Fairy

OK - it has now stopped with the hailstones and the gulls do not look very impressed at all - especially the one that refused to come down off the roof and got pelted lol. It is now time to tell you about the new challenge we have launched today over at CREATIVE MOMENTS. We have two lovely sponsors this time - Dr Digi and ToryTale.

For my creation I have used Forest Fairy, and Tory Tale are offering this digi for free to those who want it - just pop on over to Creative Moments to find the link.

I coloured the image with watercolour pencils as I wanted a delicate springtime effect for my colouring, without having to use pastels. Before printing I layered the digi onto a blue daisy background. I rounded the top corners to make this a little softer. Again I have used a Papermania embossed card blank, this time with daisies embossed all over the front. I used three different colours of the pastel chalks - green at the top, purple/blue in the middle and a pink at the bottom. To finish I added a stripey sentiment and a die-cut toadstool (Apple Blossom).

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:
Dragonfly dreams - girly with die-cut/punch
Cute as a button #32 Spring
Hanna and friends #269 Spring
Deep ocean #151 Flowers everywhere
SOS #295 Forest friends
Glitter n sparkle #231 Anything Goes

Thanks for popping along and taking a look at my blog - don't forget to pick up your free digi and I cannot wait to see what Springtime creations you make with it!!
