Bunny Christmas and Vellum Leaves

Hi there,

We are now officially on holiday - but I have brought my internet with us so that I can keep you lovely lot updated (as well as doing my DT blog posts lol).

Today we went out to Tropicarium - an exotics zoo near Minehead. It is a lovely little wildlife centre, which rescues a lot of exotic animals. The enclosures are not the best in appearance, but they are full of relevant enrichment for the animals that they are housing, and most of the animals are in very good condition. The owner is also very approachable andknowledgable too. It was a lovely start to our holiday! Then we got to the accomodation to find it stank of paint, and I had left my fish tank cross stitch at home, which was my main project for working on while we were away!!! Grrr.

Anyway, here is the first item I have to share with you - my Christmas Somebunny who I have finally made into a card:

I cannot remember how long he took to stitch but he does look good with his illustrated backing card. I would like to enter this creation into the following challenges:
CRAFT #407 Christmas
Animal Friends #48 Animal with big ears

I also made these two ATC's for my Springtime Leaves collection:
I die-cut some leaf shapes from white ATC sized card and backed with leaf printed vellum. I then simply added peel-offs to finish them off. The dies are from Crafters Companion.
I would like to enter this collection for the following challenges:
Card Mania #90 Springtime Pastels
OLL #224 Spring is in the air

I also made my first luminarie before we came away - for our first anniversary of paper :) (Any excuse eh?) lol. Here is what I came up with:

I followed a guide in a magazine for the dimensions - I was going to do a quick guide on here, but forgot to take the pictures as I was making it! So I used a tonic studios butterfly shape and some mini x-cut (star swirls) dies on each side to create the lace effect. On the back of two of the sides I added starry vellum, and on the other two a pale green vellum (the wedding colours were pale green and bright red).

I would like to enter this creation into the following challenges:
allsorts #407 Anything but a card
CAGI - Anything Goes
Alphabet challenge - A for Anything with Wings
Fussy and fancy #183 Springtime

Thank you for looking - check back on Wednesday for two new challenges,

Hugz Tinz
