Something New (Peek-a-boo)

Welcome to my second post of the day! We have a new challenge over at I Love Promarkers - our theme is Use something New. Our sponsor for this challenge is KennyK      

I used State of Undress for my card:

I cut an aperture from a pink card blank using my new create-a-card die (£5 from hobbycraft - bargain!). I then added curtains from Papermania Capsule Collection Sunshine papers. I used a strip of the pink card to make a windowsill and then added mushrooms, made with my new Apple Blossom die on mirri card. I also added a bird and flourish using my new Tattered Lace Fairy Wren die (£6.25 instead of £25!), to cover some of the die-cut details. Finally I added the sentiment from a free stamp set from last year.

And inside:

The image was new as it was provided by the sponsor for this challenge. I coloured her with Promarkers -Satin, Dusky Pink and Sunkissed Pink for the skin;Warm Yellow (Aqua) and Cinnamon for the hair; Amethyst, Winter Berry and Cerise elsewhere. I layered the image onto a digital paper I had stored on my computer and rounded the corners before mounting in the card. The stamp is from a Woodware stamp set.
