Birthday @ I Love Promarkers

 Hi all,

We have a birthday themed challenge starting today at I Love Promarkers. Of course the theme is optional, all you need to do to join in and have a chance to win is ensure that you have used letraset promarkers on your design.

We are sponsored by Dr Digi House of Stamps, and I have used the fantastic Pablo the Painter with sentiment.

I coloured the image using promarkers and trimmed down. I used a 3x3" ferm patterned paper to layer the image onto (the paper pad is from the Range. I used a 6x6" card blank and added a patterned paper that looks as though it might have been painted to make a patterned base. I then used a speckled kraft square from the same 3x3" paper pad to add a dimensional layer under the image. Before adding the image layer I used a previously die-cut border to edge the image panel and then layered all together. Finally I added a best friends scrapbook sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

DigiDoodleStudio #35 Include a sentiment
AYLI - Rubber, clear or digi - I like using digi stamps because there are lots of options with them, and I don't have to wait for them to dry before I can start colouring them.
Allsorts #611 Masculine
PFP #579 Use 3 or more papers

Thanks for looking, and do pop along to the blog and enter the challenge,

Yes you guessed it - we have a CAS twist to our anything goes challenge this month over at I Love Promarkers. We are sponsored by Dr Digi's House Of Stamps and I have used cuddly critters rabbit.

Coloured with Promarkers - Spice, Pink Lobster and Ruby (even keeping the colouring nice and simple).

Fussy cut and stuck directly onto a white base card. Frame from papermania glitter paper (Capsule collection) and die-cut using M&C stitched square nesting dies. I then simply added a white ribbon bow, and a sentiment.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

TIOT - Autumn colours

PFP #562 Anything but Christmas

CASology #375 Spice (I used the colour)

Please do pop along to the blog and see what the rest of the T have created to inspire you - and don't forget to join in (just use those Promarkers, Aquamarkers, Trimarkers or Flexmarkers).

And now we have a new challenge at Aud Sentiments, which is another Christmas in July. The sponsor is LeAnn's World 101 and I have used Going Home for my card.

I used a die that I got free with Cardmaking and Papercraft magazine to cut the image after colouring it with Promarker pens. I layered it on a folded patterned card and added foiled sentiment and snowflake toppers to finish.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
IkesWorld #134 S for Show us Xmas
ABCChristmas - N for No Fuss
DigiDoodleStudio #29 Christmas in July
SOS #424 Christmas in July (the toppers have been in my stash for several years)

Christmas in July #1

Good morning,

We have a new challenge starting over at I Love Promarkers today, with the optional theme of Christmas in July. Our lovely sponsor is Dr Digi's House Of Stamps and I have used Simply Santa.

I coloured him using the following promarker colours - Tawny Owl, Cinnamon, Black, Cardinel Red, Tropical Orchid, Pastel Beige and Daffodil Bloom. I then die-cut him using an X-cuts scalloped circle die. I cut a circle from patterned paper and layered them together. I took a 6x6" card blank and cut the front panel down the middle. I used a patterned paper on the inside and a Papermania vellum on the outside before layering the image onto the card. I accented with diamantes and added a foiled sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Ikesworld #134 S for Show us Xmas
ABC Christmas - O for OTT (lots of patterned papers)
ChristmasCraftCreations - Christmas characters
Winterwonderland - Hip to be square
DigiDoodleStudio #29 Christmas in July
SOS #424 Christmas in July
craftyhazelnuts #497 For a man/boy

Do pop over to the blog to see the rest of the DT's creations and drop us your entry.

Masculine @ Aud Sentiments

Hello again guys,

Finally getting all caught up after a week away in Sweden at a rock festival. Back to work today (I needed to take a few extra days just to get everything sorted, including the menagerie, as I am working the bank holiday weekend).

Doctor Digi
Anyway, here is my creation for our new challenge - Masculine - at Aud Sentiments. The sponsor for this challenge is Dr Digi, and I used my Naptime sentiment sheet as I think they are perfect for a masculine card.

I used the back of one of my heavily patterned cards, so it can be used as a postcard, for display purposes. I fussy cut the sentiment of choice from the sheet and layered it onto some skull patterned paper (from Papercraft magazine). I finished the card by layering two stripes of washi tape on top of each other. A nice and simple card design.

Products used:

Die - X-cut scalloped circles nesting dies
Image - Naptime sentiment sheet
Paper - Papercraft Inspirations magazine

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
catchthebug - Anything Goes
ThePaperPlayers #455 CAS for kids

Thanks for looking,

One for the boys @ I Love Promarkers

Yup, we have a new challenge over at I Love Promarkers, and our optional theme for this one is - for the boys. We are sponsored by the lovely Dr Digi'sHouse Of Stamps    , but I chose something a little different - Cuddly Critters Walrus - for my creation. I also decided to try something a little different.
I used Blue Pearl, Lilac and Cornflower for the image and layered it onto a blue tie-dye effect background panel after fussy cutting. I added a B sticker and some scrapbook sentiments and then made this up into an artists easel card. Finally I used an 18 key for the title panel.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Polkadoodle wk21 Male themed
Simon Says Monday - Frame it
CCM #234 Birthdays
AYLI - His or hers - I find cards for him more difficult, however they do lend themselves to having a bit of a play around and creating something much more unique
notjustcards - Anything Goes

Also just a dino update for those of you interested :)

Can't wait to see what you create,

Animals @ I Love Promarkers

It is time for a new Anything Goes challenge over at I Love Promarkers. The theme for the DT, and for you guys if you want a bit more of a challenge, was to add an animal. Don't forget your Promarkers though, whatever you decide to create.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Dr Digi's House Of Stamps , and I am using Mood Music for my card.
I layered patterned papers onto mirror card and then matted them together. I wrapped the layers with starry ribbon and then layered onto a white card base with the fold at the top. I added a green doily and fussy cut the image before placing on top of the doily. To finish I hand-wrote the sentiment onto an aqua tag, added a bow to the dogs tail and diamantes in the corners.

I used Promarkers in - Metallics Gold and Silver, Cool Grey 3, Lavender, April Showers, Icicle, China Blue, Terracotta, Tequila Sunrise, Pastel Pink, Olive Green, Royal Blue, Walnut (and a couple of other blues too).

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

 scrapbookstampsociety #149 Use an animal
MAWTT #80 Use Ribbons
inkspirational #169 Use a doily
