Hi guys,
I have made a Christmas card to share with you, using an Ikes Art Digi to create a tree ornament.
I finally finished cross stitching some cupcakes last week, and I made one of them into a birthday card.
We had a new challenge start on Wednesday at I Love Promarkers. Unfortunately I used the wrong sponsor to make my card originally, and so had to remake around work, hence my post being late - BUT it is now here!
Hey all,
Our new challenge started over at Creative Moments yesterday, with an optional theme of Winter.
Pop over to thre blog to see the rest of the DT creations,

We had a new challenge start yesterday at I Love Promarkers, with the optional theme of Christmas.
Our challenge over at Creative Moments is still running until the 10th of this month. With an optional twist of black cats or bats, what are you waiting for??
I would like to enter the cat creation into the following challenges:
daringcardmakers - creature comforts
allsorts #700 Let's Celebrate (cat is a birthday card)
TIOT - sparkle and shine
SUYP #83 Furrything Goes
Hi all,
Here are the other two cards I made with the stamp set.
For this first card I initially stamped the image onto the yellow base card and the heat embossed with a sparkly blue embossing powder. I then stamped the sentiment onto a matching blue ribbon and heat embossed with black embossing powder. I added a large papermania flower to the top and stamped the mini butterflies to either side to finish.Thank you for looking,
Hugz Tinz
Hi guys,
It was my turn to pick the challenge theme over at MAWTT this month, and I thought as we will soon be having lots of fireworks for bonfire night, then bright on dark was a good theme for the month.
I used a stencil and neon green cosmic shimmer polish paste for the leaves background, leaving a space for the butterfly stamp at the bottom of the page. Please see the next post for another couple of cards using this stamp set (I wanted to make 3 different cards).
I also have a book review for you:
Kismet by Amina Akhtar
Ronnie is an American Muslim who
was born and raised in New York. When her parents died she was left with her
aunt, who wants to keep the traditional ways of doing things as this means she
doesn’t have to raise a finger herself. Ronnie could not see a way out of this
until she met Marley. Marley is a wellness and spirituality fanatic who
convinces Ronnie that she knows how to enable her to have a better life. Ronnie
chooses to sell her house and move to Sedona with Marley. Sedona is a large
tourist attraction for those who are interested in the Earths natural energies,
and crystals etc.
Slowly Ronnie and Marley’s
relationship starts to deteriorate, as Ronnie realises she doesn’t like the
same things Marley does, and Marley finds a new friend who can get her the
attention she desires. Also, shortly after they arrive in Sedona bodies start
turning up, of people that are not very much liked within the community.
Furthermore, Ronnie is having strange dreams, which she believes are the cause
of the ravens that she is feeding in the area.
Can Ronnie make the relationship
work? Who is killing people and why is Ronnie dreaming about the murders before
they happen? Who can be trusted in Sedona? These are questions that you are
asked throughout the book and the story is very well written. There are
certainly some unexpected twists at the end of the book. It is a little
over-the-top in a lot of places, but a good light-hearted thriller
none-the-less.
