Chair distressing

 Hi guys,

I have been working on upcycling an old chair. I sanded it right back, and then painted in a pale green colour. I then stamped some butterflies and floral hearts onto the chair base. I wanted to keep it simple, and looking like it has been aged slightly (yes trying for a light vintage look). I am not sure what to think of it though?

I used metallic pastes for the stamping rather than acrylic paint as I wanted it to have a shimmer to it. Does it need more?
