Scenic wishes

 Hi guys,

I made a card following the sketch from AHSC #405.

I rotated the sketch in order for the backing paper to work correctly.

I ripped the edges of the patterned paper and added a scenic topper for the image panel. I then added a foiled sentiment topper using 3D foam pads for dimension.

I would like to enter this into the following challenge:

Christmas Baubles

 Hi everybody,

I have a Christmas card to share with you today :D. Can never be too early haha

I used a green base card. I wrapped a snowflake ribbon around the bottom of a bauble patterned card and matted this onto red mirror card. I then added this to the card base. Finally I stamped the sentiment onto the ribbon using metallic red ink (It is easier to see in real life - honest).

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Quilled bird

Our new challenge started yesterday over at Creative Moments, and as always it is an anything goes theme.

I decided that I would try my hand at making a quilled bird for my card in order to play along with my teamies.

I coloured the image with promarkers and then fussy cut her. I added her to some pink waves paper die-cut into a scalloped circle. I then used a green card and matted card the same colour as the base onto this to make the sentiment topper. I coloured a peel-off sentiment in pink. Finally I quilled a little bird and added this to the side of the sentiment.

All about the food!

 Hi guys,

It is time for a new challenge over at I love Promarkers - and the optional theme is food!

We are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps, and I have used Cupcake Tower.

I coloured the image with the following Promarkers - Honeycomb, Khaki, Umber, Henna, Winter Berry, Plum Preserve, Antique Pink, Rose Pink, Cyan, Duck Egg, Cornflower, Pastel Green and Soft Green. I used pearlescent white card to make a base, of which I cut the centre front away. I layered orange glitter polka dot paper inside the card, then added the image to the front, layering washi tape underneath first. Finally I added some domed diamantes.

Scenic postcard

 Hi guys,

I have created a little bit of a winter scene postcard using a die that I got from Simon Says Stamp, but this is the first time I have used it. I took a patterned base paper with a rose scene on it, and then die-cut the tree after re-sizing the paper to 6x4". Finally I added a die-cut and embossed butterfly that was coloured with alcohol markers.

I used bright patterned paper for the back, with a blue patterned paper over the top, and then a blue wavy border for the bottom. I added a banner strip of washi tape and then a blue butterfly topper. I finished with a Birthday topper banner.

Colourful Thank You

We have a new challenge starting today at I Love Promarkers - the first one for 2021!! Welcome back everyone, hope you all had a good Christmas, whatever you managed to do. Hope some of you got to see some of your loved ones, even if it wasn't quite how you imagined it!

Our first challenge of 2021 is an easy Anything Goes challenge - just remember to use those promarkers :)

We are sponsored by the delightful  IKEsART digis, and I have used Blue Tit.

I used Cool Grey 5, Ice Grey 4, Warm Grey 4, Indigo Blue, April Shower, Blue Sky, Olive Green, Lime Green, Summer Sun, Sandstone, Morning Mist, Soft Peach, Ruby and Maroon.

I used M&C stitched square nesting dies from The Works t die cut both the image and the patterned paper behind this, which is a double sided paper from my stash. The off cut is the piece placed along th bottom for the easel stand.

I made an easel card out of a 6x4 blank and added some paper out of my scrap box in bright colours. I added the image panel off to one side so that the bright paper could be seen. I then used peel-off markers to colour the letters before spelling out 'thank you' and adding a flower.

Something New @ MAWTT

 Hi all,

Our first challenge theme for 2021 over at Moving Along with the Times, is Something New - so either get out those Christmas pressies, make a card for a 'new' occasion (i.e. baby or house) or try something new!

I have used a new die that I got from my mum for Christmas, alongside a new card base. The card base didn't work quite right - it is supposed to fold up a couple of different ways, but I couldn't quite get it to work!

I used different glitter cards for the two sides of the card in the die. I then simply used some sentiment panels to finish the card. I am thinking of adding some ribbon over the obvious crease, but I will need to buy some in the correct colour.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

SimonSaysWednesday - Sparkle and Shine

Allsorts #603/4 Sparkle and shine

Also on the new theme are these little terrors!

Thanks for looking and we cannot wait to see what you create!

Happy New Year
