Hi guys,
I decided to have a go at making two completely different cards using a butterfly die I had in my stash (I think it was a free gift with a magazine).
I created a CAS general card and a more layered New Home card.
The pair are being entered into the following challenges:
This more layered card was created on a classic blue base card (the Pantone colour of 2020). I used glitter washi tape to make the banner. I then took some patterned papers from my scrap box (meaning that I have no idea what brand it is) and used this along with the die-cut (cut on X-cut glitter self-adhesive paper) a washi tape circle and the sentiment topper to layer the card according to the
AHSC sketch.
I would also like to enter this card into the following challenges:
For my CAS card I used the same glitter paper for the die-cut, but then I added this on its own and simply stamped the sentiment firstly in grey and then in black ink. I heat embossed over the black ink using a red (cherry scented) embossing powder.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

ReplyDeleteA very clean and simple (CAS) card, especially considering that the sketch shows layers upon layers - unique way to handle this. Love the colour combination as well. Thanks for sharing with us at Atlantic Hearts :)

Such a pretty CAS card and that was a clever way to incorporate all 3 colours. The two colours stamped on the sentiment complements the main die cut. Thank you for joining us at Less is More xx
ReplyDeleteIt's great how you used our challenge colours but chose glittered versions, loving all the white space too. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
