Icy Easel

Hi there,

It is time to let you knonw about our final challenge for 2017 over at I Love Promarkers. We have a nice easy theme of Anything Goes for this one, and will look forward to seeing what you create in the run up to Christmas.

Our sponsor is
The Prize for the lucky winner is
2 Digi Images
If you would like to be in with a chance of winning this fabulous prize,
simply enter your creations using Inlinkz below.
How you interpret this is completely up to you, as long as you make sure you follow the theme and you MUST use either ProMarkers, FlexMarkers, AquaMarkers or Trias on your work, if not you entry will be deleted
For my card I have used Winter Kidz with Cat from the sponsor:
I made the card into an easel card. I started off with a pale blue 5x5 card blank. I cut the outer 2cm on each side of the card front away and then rounded the corners of the back, before folding the front in the middle to make the easel shape. I layered some lovely Poinsettia patterned paper onto a paler blue card and rounded the corners of each layer before adding to the base. I used a strip from the patterned paper, from cutting the paper to size, to create the easel stand by sticking it to the base with foam pads. I also added some blue diamantes. The image was coloured with Promarkers and the top corners rounded before lining it up with the top of the card. Finally I added some diamantes and a snowflake to the bottom of the front panel.

Promarkers used - Satin; Pastel Beige; Peach; Spice; Cinnamon; Pastel Blue; Island Lagoon; Fresh Meadow; Apple Cider; Lime Zest and Metallic Red Gold.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
CCEE1749 Christmas Carols - Let it snow (or the boy could just be out carolling with his kitty)
Allsorts #455 Snowflakes
CraftyHazelnuts #363 A touch of sparkle (diamantes)

glitter n sparkle #269 Winter
Simon Says Stamp Monday - Christmas/Winter Holidays

  8. This is such a whimsically wonderful piece! I love the structure and how it has such great dimension. I also thought it was clever of you to include a floral touch with that beautiful poinsettia section. It came together beautifully! Happy holidays to you and yours and thank you for taking time out to share such an inspiring creation with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
