Quirky Things with Wings

Hello again everybody,

The sunshine has suddenly come out - I have been off work and having to go out and about and it has rained all day. This means my garden stuff has not been done that I wanted to do today although I have spent more time with my little birds (they are having issues at the moment and so I am trying to figure out what the problem is :(, but one of them is fine now and the others seem more settled). I have however managed to plant up my Cali Wonder pepper plants - 8 potted on and another two still a little small whoop.

I also have something coming into the garden in the early hours and removing my feeders from the feeding station, throwing them on the floor and running off with the fat balls. As yet I haven't been able to establish what is doing this. I looked out this morning and the fat ball feeder was on the floor, went to do my ablutions, looked out the window again and in that time period the seed feeder had been thrown on the floor!

Anyway onto the crafty quirky winged creatures lol. We have a new challenge over at Quirky Crafts, and this will be our last challenge for a couple of months due to some unforseen circumstances and not enough DT members - so if you are interested in joining our little group do drop an email. You will be required to host the occasional challenge though. So our June challenge is Things With Wings.

We have two lovely sponsors for this challenge. The first is  Limited Runs. They have a progressive challenge running at the moment and I have used the Steampunk Bug for this challenge on my quirky card.

I coloured him with Promarkers and used X-cut nesting oval dies to cut the shapes. The holographic paper was in my stash, and the sentiment was just typed on the computer and means 'Don't let the B***ards grind you down', which I thought was great for this guy!
