It is another Monday and I have an ATC collection for you
this week. As I am now staying away from home during the week I am trying to
get a card, or other papercraft creation, made over the weekends to share with
you. I would love to take my stuff and make cards in an evening, but I just
don’t know what I would want, and there is not enough room for everything!!
This collection was made digitally using different
backgrounds from the Creative Companions CD-Rom free with issue , and layered
together in Microsoft Word, where I also added the sentiments.
Here is the collection for you:
I used Autumn Morning backing papers and then a panel from
the Festive designs.
I would like to enter this collection for the following
challenges:
CRAFT #384 Autumn
Leaves Inspiration pic
ABC Christmas – T for
Two (two styles on each ATC)
Allsorts #384 Colours of Autumn
OLL #215 Shades of Autumn
Polkadoodle – Autumn
Colours
Melonheadzfriends –
Autumn
I would also like to share my
finished owl cross stitch with you all:
I am not sure how long this
stunner took, and I am also not sure what I am going to do with him now lol.
Finally I actually have a new audio book review for you all!
Wings by Terry Pratchett (Bromeliad Book 3)
When I started listening to this book I didn’t realise it
was the final book of a trilogy! However, it can be read/listened to as a
stand-alone story. I do not find Terry Pratchett easy to read, but his stories
are certainly a joy to listen to. In this part of the story the Gnomes of the
Earth have realised that they actually came from space and they can go home
with the help of ‘The Thing’ – a black box that tells them what to do and can
link into any computer system. As is typical of Terry Pratchett books the story
is humourous, with a lot of more adult humour speckled throughout. I enjoyed
this book and am looking forward to read numbers 1 and 2. (Well listen to
anyway). I also loved the little asides about the Frogs, which the gnomes also
managed to find.
Thank you for looking,
Hugz Tinz

These are fab, Tinz! It's amazing how different an atc or card looks just by changing the colours and placement, isn't it? I hope you enjoy the rest of the 'Nomes' trilogy - I love Pratchett!
