Italian Autumal Harvest - Aud Sentiments #164

Hi there,

It is time for a new challenge over at Aud Sentiments. This time we would like to see Fall Colours, and don’t forget that sentiment. Our sponsor this time is Doodle Pantry and I have used their Tiny Fruit Bunch Freebie. This card has been made using the rich colours that you tend to see in the harvest, whether you are harvesting the deep blooms that appear now, or the vegetables, as I thought it was a good compliment to the image:

Image – Doodle Pantry Freebie
Dies – X-cut nesting scalloped circle die –second smallest; Nellie Snellin nesting circle die; X-cut Scalloped hearts nesting dies; Tonic studios ? die
Sentiment – computer generated

I simply layered the elements together and created an amusing sentiment to match the image for the bottom of the card.

I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:
Simply create Too #117 Fall Colours
MMM #30 Autumn Colours
 CCEE1637 Die-cuts

Here are some more of the Woolly Critters from the Brown's Hill Quarry Woolly Trail.

I also have a new audio book review for you - this will be the last for a little while as I am moving house and will need to register at the new library etc.

Italian Shoes by Henning Mankell
Ok so the title of the book is very misleading – the story is not based around shoes, or Italy. However, the main character does find out he has a daughter, who is now in her 30s, who gets an Italian shoemakers friend of hers to make him some new shoes, which then arrive at the end of the book. This is the story of a Doctor who has hidden himself away on an island after a tragedy and is enjoying the solitude with his cat and his dog. However, when an elderly lady approaches across the ice she changes the direction his life is taking. He abandoned her when they were both young and she has come to him to ask him to fulfil a promise he had made her, now that she is dying. This trip eventually takes him to meet his daughter who he didn’t even know existed, and forces him to take a good look at his life, and what he wants to do with it. It was a good story, very captivating, but there are no conclusions at the end, which is a shame.

Thankyou for looking,

Hugz Tinz
