Flowers in the blue - I love Promarkers #183

Hi everybody,

I apologise for the delay between blog postings at the moment but we are in the middle of moving house and we have no internet, so I have to use the McDonalds WiFi to get access (which could work out quite costly – both to my purse and my health lol). However, I am here today as a new DT member for I love Promarkers challenge blog. To join this fortnightly challenge there is a theme to follow – this time it is Flowers/Nature for challenge #183 – and you must use Promarkers. If you are a fan of Promarkers it would be great to see you joining us!!
For this challenge we are sponsored by The Paper Shelter , who provided some lovely images for us to work with. I used 'The Sweet Gardener' for my card.

I started with a floral patterned base card and then coloured my image, before deciding on the elements for the rest of the card. I was not intending for the girl to have blue hair, but the blue Promarker kept getting in the way every time I went for the brown, so I figured they were trying to tell me something. The image and Papermania Henbury Lane patterned paper were die-cut with X-cut scalloped circle nesting dies and a blue ribbon place across the centre of the card. To finish I added a felt butterfly and flower in purple, purple leaves behind a blue paper flower and a chipboard sentiment.
Promarkers used were – China Blue, Pastel Blue, Cobalt Blue, Dusky Pink, Tawney Owl (Ltd ed), Cool Grey 2, Pine, Pear Green, Caramel, Honeycomb and Fuschia Pink.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Glitter n sparkle #206 Anything Goes
 CCEE1637 Die-cuts
Addicted to stamps and more #212 Make your mark
OLL #213 Anything Goes
Scrapbook Stamp Society #100 Anything Goes
Melonheadz Friends - Hand coloured image

I also have some more Woolly Critters to share with you from the Brown’s Hill Quarrey Woolly Trail – great fun if you are in the area – lovely reserve too, and badgers if you go late enough.

I pulled the remainder of my Garlic bulbs up before leaving my allotment for good, and they were a lovely size – although some had started to split completely:

Here is also a latest update on my fishtank. I am not sure what time it is at now, but it is certainly over the estimated 120 hours!

Thank you for looking,

Hugz Tinz
