Fantastic Aud Sentiment

Hi guys,

Yes it is time for a new challenge at Aud Sentiments, and our theme this time is an Anything Goes one, so nice and easy. We are sponsored by Paper Nest Dolls for this challenge and they kindly gave me Knight Owen with Dragon to work with.

Please pop along to the challenge blog to enter and see what the rest of the Design Team have created.

I made this image into an Easel card after colouring with Promarkers. The easel stand sentiment is an Anita's one and I added it using foam pads. The rest of the embellishments were ones that I have had in my stash for a few years and find difficult to use.

Promarkers - Budding Rose, Caramel, Cinnamon, Cool Grey 2, Cool Grey 4, Cool Grey 5, Denim Blue, Holly, Ivory, Lime Zest, Orchid, Pale Pink, Pine, Satin.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
notjustcards - Anything goes
PFP #517 Use something old

Hope you are all enjoying halloween - pictures to follow :)

Spotlight on Autumnal butterflies

Hi there guys,

I have made a delicate little butterfly card to share with you today. I am really rubbish at taking photos for the making up stages though - i will remember eventually!

I cut the panels first, ensuring that the matts would stack evenly for each of the layers. I used plain yellow card and a sunburst patterned paper for these. I then layered the sunbursts together and stamped the flowers and butterflies in a random pattern across all the layers. i then matted the layers onto the yellow card, before layering them back together. For the spotlight technique I coloured any parts of the stamps that were on the central square. I also added the peel-off sentiment into this square.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
CCEE1943 Porch in the fall (autumnal colours)
intaas #70 Celebrate Autumn
AvenueCreate #226 Spotlight technique
dragonflydreams - use black

Doris has decided that she wants Henry's hutch now!

Christmas in Autumn

Hi guys,

I have an unusual Christmas card to share with you today :)

The text background was in my stash from quite a while ago. The image was printed from a Birdsong CD-Rom (digital designer). I stamped the holly border across the join and added the topper above this. I stamped the sentiment and heat embossed with Tinsel green papermania powder. Finally I added papermania neon dots.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Winter Wonderland - Merry and Bright
ikesworld #125 J for Jaffa
CCM #243 Sparkle (embossed sentiment)

These guys are both the same age - but look at the size difference!!
And Doris lost her ears in the wind (or so she was trying to have me believe lol).

Autumn @ MAWTT

Hey everybody,

It is time for a new challenge over at MAWTT, and our theme, chosen by , is Autumn colours. Please pop to the blog to see Team B's creations.

This is what I created to fit with the challenge:
The topper is a digitally layered design from a CD-Rom (sorry can't remember the name of it at the moment), and I have added it to KRAFT card base with some fabric flowers and a diamante to jazz it up a little bit.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:

For the girls

Hi guys,

It is time for  new challenge over at Creative Moments, with the other half of the DT :) They have made some wonderful cards for this challenge. The optional twist is to create something for the girls - and so I made this:
I used a mini 3x3" base card. I then die-cut the foil background from an old Galaxy Easter egg wrapper I had saved. I stamped the stiletto onto white card and die-cut using the next size down. I then layered these two panels in the centre of the card before adding some Papermania Capsule collection Blitters, and a wooden butterfly.

Dies used - M&C Stitched Squares nesting dies from The Works.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
CraftyCalendar - Autumn colours
CCM #243 Sparkle
craftycatz #479 colours of autumn
Allsorts #542 Gold or silver
