Critters twice over

Hi guys,

I have a twofer challenge entry to share with you today, with their theme of critters. The stamp and die-cuts are used for both cards to give very different results.

For the little card I kept the base plain and stamped the bee to one side of the die-cut sentiment (cut on wood grain paper). I then added some flower and bee peel-offs to the opposite corner for balance.

The second card I used a heavily patterned base - stamped the bee coming out from the flower and then used the words from the die-cut separately to make a different sentiment, this time cut on white wood grain.

These would both be suitable for INTAAS #67 Things with wings challenge and CCEE1937 Honey Month.

I would like to enter this smaller card into the following challenges:
TheLibraryChallenge #41 Readers choice - with this book
Image result for bee book covers
Alphabet challenge - M for Masculine

And this brightly coloured card into these ones:
SimonSaysMonday - Stamp It

Instead of showing you some of my pets (especially my spiders lol) I thought I would let you see this lovely pop of colour. The poor fly had to wait a while for the bee to finish before he could get some juicy nectar.
Thanks so much for buzzing by :)

Use acetate at MAWTT

Hi guys,

Our new challenge at MAWTT is to use Acetate, chosen by Mrs Duck. We have a wide range of ideas from the DT, and here is mine:

I am continuing doing my wedding scrapbook and I started by using glitter pastes through a butterfly and flowers stencil. I then ripped some white paper and painted it with Cosmic Shimmer paint before mounting the photo on top. I then fussy cut some acetate dragonflies. I tried to paint the wings of the larger one with the cosmic shimmer paint - but as you can see it didn't work quite as well as I had hoped - it looks like somebody has splattered the dragonfly over the page instead.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
craftycalender - lots of layers
SimplyLessIsMore #403 metallics
MTTC #405 Anything But a card

Here are my rather large caterpillars:

Autumn colours @ Aud Sentiments

Our new theme at Aud Sentiments is Autumn/Fall colours. Our sponsor is The Paper Shelter and i have used the precoloured image from the Autumn Breeze set.

I fussy cut round the image before layering onto a gift envelope from the Geometrics collection by Papermania. I then added a rustic paper rose, birthday sentiment and Autumnal sentiment also.
On the back I covered the eyelet with a black paper flower attached by a brad, to allow ease of tying the envelope closed.

I would like to enter this gift envelope into the following challenges:
dragonflydreams - Happy Birthday
MMM #104 Use shapes
Cutecardthursday #598 Anything Goes
modsquad - Anything but a card

Thanks for looking and can't wait to see your Autumnal creations,
