Masquerade

 Hey guys,

I have made a slimline CAS card using some of my long-term stash. I was using the theme of mask, and I found this topper.

So originally I thought this was a hair comb, but it could actually be a mask with tassels - so I chose to use it as a mask. I simply layered this onto a die-cut frame and added letter peel-offs to make a sentiment.

More than one layer @ I Love Promarkers

 Hi guys,

We have a new challenge started over at I Love Promarkers today. As always it is an anything goes challenge, but our optional theme is to add more than one layer.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Paper Nest Dolls Digis and I have used Nautical mermaid Ellie.

I coloured Ellie using the following promarker colours:

Warm Grey 1, Almond

Caramel

Island Lagoon, Lime Twist

Lilac, Powder Blue, Twilight Sky, Metallic Blue

Yellow, Mango, Cardinal Red

I layered a watercolour effect patterned paper onto my base card, and then layered a 3x3" seaside patterned paper over this (from The Range). I then fussy cut the image and layered this on the top - finally adding a seahorse accent.

I made two cards for the final challenge over at twofer challenge - if you have nevr joined in you have missed out on the fun:

I made a friends card and an ATC with my stamps - you can see the doggy stamp and the best friends stamp were used on both cards.

I would like to enter these at:

SweetStampin' - Feature an animal

For the ATC I used a patterned base that was ATC sized. I then stamped the dog into the centre and the sentiment to the bottom of the frame. Finally I added gemstones to add some sparkle.

For the card I used the gemstones to make a border. I then used a selection of the cat/dog stamps from the set, and then stamped the sentiments repeatedly to make a sentiment banner.

Festive stitches

 Hi guys,

We had a new challenge start yesterday at Creative Moments. Unfortunately I was out all day - having fun at the first invert show of the year!! However, I have made a card to try and encourage you to join in the fun. As always we are an anything goes challenge - just ensure it is your own work and posted after the date our challenge went live.

It is a cross stitch which uses metallic gold thread, and then I have added a vintage Christmas tag to finish.

Recent stitch finish

 Hi guys,

I have recently finished a cross stitch that will be given to my husband as a Christmas present :D. Therefore, I cannot share it anywhere except here - so i decided to share it with you all!

I stitched him on a pale blue marbled aida from Polstitches (as I am part of their aida club). I think it really makes the reds pop! This is Errol from Terry Pratchets books.

Christmas feast

 Hi guys,

I made a start on my Christmas tags as I had this decoupage in my stash for a while.

I simply used the decoupage as is - sticking the layers with Anita's tacky glue, but then I used some glitter glue to highlight accents.

For a boy @ I Love Promarkers

 Hi guys,

We have a new challenge started today over at I Love Promarkers with the theme of For a Boy.

We are sponsored by Dr Digi's House Of Stamps for this challenge and I have used Joust in time.

I coloured the image using promarkers and then fussy cut. I cut some grass from green glitter paper and layered this onto a red base card (4x6"). I then placed the image on top of this. Finally I added a die-cut scalloped circle as a sun and added 'hugs' and 'kisses' peel-off to this.

Fly away

 I made a card using a sketch and the theme of transport.

I used a wooden hot air balloon, some papers (fussy cutting an image from the top of the paper) and then sentiment peel-offs.

Jam Packed with Creative Moments

 We have a new challenge starting today over at Creative Moments, and as always it is Anything Goes.

We are sponsored by the lovely Cute As A Button for this challenge and I decided to use the 'Strawberry Preserves' image as it is the time of year for jam making now - if you managed to get a good crop of fruit with this awful weather we have been having that is!

Prize to be awarded - 2 digital images

I coloured the image using Papermania watercolour pens, and some watercolour pencils too. I then folded a plain base card into an easel style and covered the base with pink holographic paper (with the light it looks much darker than it actually is). I used an off-cut from a previous die-cut to make the easel stand and added little butterfly gems to this. No sentiment was added as I thought this could be used for a variety of occasions. I cut the image square and then layered it onto the holographic paper, adding another couple of butterfly gems to finish.

Summer fun @ MAWTT

 Hi guys,

We have a new challenge starting today over at MAWTT, and the theme is Summer Fun, chosen by Wendy.

I decided to go with a mermaid as going to the beach is definitely summer fun - and who doesn't want to see a mermaid.

I used a sea themed backing paper that was from The Range. I coloured the image using Chameleon pens and fussy cut the image. I then layered this on top of the base paper. I finished by adding a sentiment to the gap at the top.
