Flowers @ Aud Sentiments

Hi guys,

Yes we have a new challenge starting today at Aud Sentiments, with the theme of Flowers and the lovely sponsor FredSheSaid.   I have used Gerbera Daisy In A Jar.

I coloured the image using promarkers in - Arctic Blue, Emerald, Red Gold, Wild Cranberry, Hot Pink, Terracotta and Orange. I then added a DoCrafts die-cut glittered sentiment and used brads to attach the image to the card.

Magic circles @ I Love Promarkers

Hi guys,

We have a new challenge started at I Love Promarkers (please make sure you do use promarkers on your creation to be eligible for the prize draw), and our optional theme is Circles. We are sponsored by Paper Nest Dolls Digis , and I have used Magician Owen.

I coloured him using Amethyst, Spice, Winter Berry, Blossom, Black, Umber, Ducky Pink promarkers. I then fussy cut him and added him onto a square base card with some scalloped circle die-cuts and a masculine brad.

Birthday in the pink

Hi guys,

I have a pink themed birthday card to share with you today.

I already had the heavily patterned base card. I stamped some layering flower stamps using a pale pink and a coral ink, and then fussy cut around the outline. I also stamped the sentiment from the set. I mounted each element to the card front using brads.

Birds and bees

Hi guys,

There is a new challenge started today over at Creative Moments - where it is the second half of the team working with the sponsor images. But as always I cannot resist playing along with my teamies whilst using some of my stash. The optional theme is Birds and/or bees.

Here is the postcard I created:

I used a little bird topper. I then added a 3D rose label sticker to which I stuck an extra hummingbird. To the opposite side I added a flower topper. Finally I added a couple of bee stickers.

Flowers and butterflies

Hi guys,

I have two cards to share with you today - they are similar as the stamp I have used is a larger one, but the techniques are slightly different.

I started with the same card base for both cards and stamped the floral panel directly to the bottom of the card.
These are to be entered into:

For this first card I then stamped the dragonflies, from the same stamp set, onto different patterned papers and paper pieced them onto the card from. I added two of them with 3D foam pads. I then printed out a sentiment and added peel-off letters to say Sister about it.

For the second card I added an Anita's foiled Gran sentiment. I then added some glittered butterfly stickers to add movement to the floral scene. Finally I added a bee peel-off.

White and Cream

Hi guys,

I have another card to share with you using the butterflies and blossom stencil - this time cream on white.

I used a cream ink pad to just ink a section of the stencil. I then used a couple of die-cuts that were in my stash, cut from ivory card, to make a focal point. The sentiment will be added to the label die, but I have left it blank at the moment

Flower power

Good evening! It has been a little breezy today so I haven't done much in the garden. However I did have a play with inks and a stencil to make a floral card.

I used a butterfly and flowers stencil over a blue card base with distressed inks, and I used a make-up sponge to apply the ink through the stencil. I had already coloured the image (I am unsure which supplier this was from), so I just fussy cut it and added it to the bottom of the card. Finally I added a glittered butterfly topper.

Let's go fishing

We have a new challenge for you all today over at Aud Sentiments, with a nice easy theme of 'Anything Goes'. Our sponsor for this challenge is Di's Digi Stamps. I had this little image in my stash called Fishing Mice.

I used my Chamealeon pens to colour this and then fussy cut the image before adding to a KRAFT card base. I added a scrapbook sentiment and a sentiment topper.

Time for a Tea Party @ I Love Promarkers

Hi guys,

Well it is time for another new challenge over at I Love Promarkers with no optional theme this time. As always please remember that you must use Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Aquamarkers or Triamarkers somewhere on your creation (preferrably as a majority if you are using two types of colouring medium).

I used a green base card and layered some starry rainbow paper onto this. I then simply added the coloured image and a sentiment (Best Wishes).

Spring over to Creative Moments

Hi guys,

It is time for a new challenge over at Creative Moments for my DT. Our theme is Spring has Sprung and I have used some freebies from Decosse.

I made a spinner card using two topper elements layered together over some metallic thread. I used a matching metallic patterned paper on the back part of the card but left the front blue (to hint at the flight of the butterfly).

Flowers @ MAWTT

We have a new challenge starting today at MAWTT- and as it is the first of MAY our theme for the month is Flowers - chosen by the lovely Jodie.

I used a free card kit for this and layered the decoupage elements on top of the printed base card. I then simply added a sentiment also to front (and also a handmade with love to the back).
