Water flight

I found these coasters in my stash the other day. I think I got them from my mum - possibly for Christmas a couple of years ago. So I decided to make use of one (I do still need to get an acrylic mount for it - or some varnish).

So I started off by blending a few of my distressed inks - crushed sapphire, evergreen bough and squeezed lemonade - to try and create a body of water at the base of the coaster. I then stamped the dragonfly (as you always find them around water) and the sentiment. Nice and simple (although I really do need a rounded blending tool).

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
dragonflydreams - no patterned paper
CCM #239 It's a bugs life
TIOT - In my garden there is...dragonflies
TheMaleRoom #118 Flight
AYLI - Fav way to add text is to stamp it on, as it looks professional, and I have a lot of stamps lol
CASology #350 Water
ATSM #356 Anything Goes
CuteCardThursday #597 Anything but a card

Thanks for looking,
