So our optional theme this time is CAS and we are sponsored by the lovely Dr Digi. I have used Psychedelic Syd for my creation - with lots of tie-die lol.
I added the Dr Suess quote before printing the image and then coloured with Promarkers - Cool Grey 1, Icicle, March Hare, Spice, Pstel Blue, Bluebell, Sky Blue, Pastel Beige, Island Lagoon, Gold, Walnut, Warm Grey 5.
The image was die-cut using M&C nesting stitched square dies, as was the tie-dye effect patterned paper to back the image. I mounted this onto a pearlescent blue base card.
A CAS design requires lots of 'white'-space and few layers and embellishments. I have added interest in the sentiment and tie-dye effects and placed the image in the centre to keep this creation nice and clean and pleasing on the eye. Also, if you are joining us over at I Love Promarkers - please do remember we need to see you using Promarkers, or other pens of that range, and if it is not obvious then please just let us know in your description.
I will be entering this card into the following challenges:
TIOT - Die-cuts or stencils (I have used die-cuts on this card)
inkspirational #159 Play
Countryview #63 Be Humourous
In the meantime, I thought you might like to see how I planted my 'Old Man Time' pot up:
