Relax with Creative Moments

Well I am now settled and ready to relax before bed, and the weather dried up for me this afternoon, which I was happy about - however it did man less people were actually in!

So onto our new Anything Goes challenge over at Creative Moments. Our twist for this challenge is to make something to depict 'me time' as the 7th is No Housework Day (I can live with that lol).

I have used Back to School Ellie from The Paper Nest Dolls for my shaped card:

I made this girl her own retreat house to go and read her books with her best friend. The template was from a Quick Cards magazine and I layered wood grain paper over the base to make it look kinda like a shed, but a posh shed lol. I layered the image onto some digital patterned paper and coloured with watercolour pencils. I added the digital sentiment 'Sometimes spending time with your best friend is all the therapy you need' as I thought it worked really well with the girl going to read with her kitty joining her. Finally I added some paper flowers, a felt butterfly and a bee peel-off.
