Fishes for you

Hi there,

It is Friday and I am ready for the weekend! Lots of busy days recently so looking forward to having a bit of a relax - hopefully! I do have some order of service's to make though, which might end up with me pulling my hair out to get them right! I also have a birth sampler to finish as my new neice should be gracing us with her presence at some point today, hopefully!

Anyway - I have made a one-layer romantic card, with a humourous side :)

I used a small Distress Ink in Crushed Sapphire to make the sea on the bottom of the card. I then stamped the fish (from Pink Petticoat) over this using pretty colour black ink. The fish were coloured using various shades of blue watercolour pencils and marker pens. To finish I stamped the sentiment, from the same stamp set, using Whispers blue ink pad and added some blue bubble sticker hearts.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
modsquad - Valentine/Love
Simply Less is Moore #363 OLC cute (I think these fish are very cute!)
ATCAS #128 Ombre
Card Mania #100 Monochromatic

I also have a birth sampler update - but I need to pop it on the computer first as it is on my phone and not my camera! Check back later if you wish to see it (now at 24hrs).

And here it is :)

Thanks for looking,

Hugz Tinz

  6. I wouldn't normally think of fish as cute but these certainly are. A great monochrome one layer too.
