Firework Love

As promised I have another card to share with you today. This is another CAS design, but I may have gone slightly too clean. Should I add something more to either of the other corners do you think?

The heart in the bottom right is just a watermark and is not actually part of the card!

This was really simple to make - I die-cut the sentiment from Joanna Sheen onto X-cut self-adhesive glitter sheet, and peeled off small pieces of feather to pop behind the sentiment. I then added three bright feathers to the opposite corners and topper with a sparkly purple flower (I had to stick the feathers using cellotape so needed to cover this up!)

Once again any feedback, or improvements to this particular card, are much appreciated!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Simply Less is Moore #353 Colour week - Fireworks
modsquad - it's all in the colour
card mania #98 Anything Goes

I also have an update on my fish tank for you:

Now at 172hr48!

Thanks for looking,

Hugz Tinz

  1. Its really cute card, me personal, should have done a 2 layerd card. Than it's more finished. But the 2 corners are perfect.

Oh wow your embroidery is awsome!

  2. I can see that this was an easy card to make. Glad that you mention the watermark was not part of the card. White space is good, and you have a lot of that in your card. The two corners are fine, but you may think of floating them into the center a bit. We all need to have some of these simple cards in our collections. Your embroidery is out of this world fabulous. Thanks for sharing with us at the Mod Squad Challenge this week. Hope to see you again.

  3. For us CAS lovers there no such thing as too clean! :) Using two opposite corners is always a brilliant CAS design. The feathers look fun and I love the kraft base. Thanks for joining us at Less Is More!

  4. You're never too clean when it's about CAS designs. And you did it perfectly leaving all that empty space and using the two opposite corners. Love the very bright colours of your feathers ! Thanks for sharing and for playing along at Less is More !
