Deaths portrait

Hiya, I have a new DT creaton for you today, for our I Love Promarkers challenge - the optional twist is to use a ribbon (mine is a bow).

I have made a picture for Halloween using this times progressive challenge image from our sponsor IkesArt, which can be found here.

I coloured the image with the following promarkers - Black, Cool Grey 3, Warm Grey 4 + 5, Gold, Canary and Cinnamon.

I then used a Nellie Snellin nesting die to cut the image, border and patterned paper panels.

The background was done using Sheen Douglas embossing folder inked in black, over red card.

Once framed I added the bow to the front.

I would like to enter this creation into the following challenges:
Not Just Cards - Anything Goes
scrapbookstampsociety #152 Halloween
The Male Room #97 Tools (death is holding a sythe, which is a tool for cutting grass)
AYLI - Halloween colours (I do love the deep hues of haloween)

Citycrafter #436 Zig-a-zag-ah

Hi there,

I have a halloween themed creation that could be used for a birthday to share with you all today:

The image is from the current IkesArt progressive challenge. (I do have a project with the second image, but you will have to wait for that one). I coloured her using Papermania glitter markers and watercolour markers. I placed her behind the aperture in an aperture card, and then added the sentiment above, added liquid pearls. Finally I added two die-cut pumpkins (spellbinders).

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
TIOT - Halloween
MAWTT #83 Halloween
MTTC #382 Halloween
Die-cuttin' Divas #392 Halloween
craftycatz #435 Halloween

I would like to share some cute pictures of a Chucky with you - the green thing protects my dash, as he likes to chew it and his beak is very strong!!

Make it funny @ Aud Sentiments

Hello and welcome along for another new challenge at Aud Sentiments, with a theme of 'Make it funny'. Well with Bugaboo Stamps as our sponsor this time we were spoilt for choice, and I chose to use this humourous design (JJ XMas Box) as we are on the run up to Christmas now.

I used a Marianne Designs Winter paper stack for the background - I wanted it to look kinda like it could be a wall. The image was coloured with promarker pens after the sentiment had been placed over the image (not easy with a JPG!).

To finish I simply added some golden glitter dots.

I would like to enter this crad into the following challenges:
Allsorts #490 Traditional Christmas colours (greens, reds and golds)
Catch the Bug - BINGO (3 layers-players choice-gems)
craftyhazlenuts #308 Sentiment Focus
ABC Christmas - V for Very Quick
Not Just Cards - Anything Goes

I can't wait to see what you guys come up with,

Hugz Tinz

Spooktacular @ Creative Moments

Hi there,

It is time for a new challenge over at Creative Moments, and the twist this time is to make it spooky. I chose to use some halloween digital papers and toppers to make a birthday ATC.

The toppers and backing paper are from Decosse's, and I simply added a double-sided pee-off and some glue splatters and sprinkled a pale peach glitter over the top, before adding the toppers, with the centre one being cut into a star shape. I know people do not really say 31 again?, it is usually 21 again, however halloween is the 31st, so I decided to go with it :)

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Simon Says Monday - Halloween/Spooky
MMM #82 Number games
TIOT - Halloween
The Card Concept #100 Elegant Fall

Card Mania #109 Sketch

Do pop over to the blog http://carabbiemomentsofcraft.blogspot.com/ to see the rest of the DT creations and sponsors.

Spooky Sunset? - Nah I am just out for a ride :P

Sorry, my nickname to my family is WitchyPoo (or sometimes they just shorten it to Poo), and my car registration reads witched, so I thought the title was fitting lol. Anyway, here is my card:

I layered the witch silhouette from IkesArt onto a ackground that was a free download with a magazine (I cannot remember which one at the moment). I figured she didn't need a reflection as it would be below the frame of the picture. I then simply added this panel to a yellow card blank and added some silouette peel-offs.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
SUYP #35 Meowloween
Crafty calender - Autumn
dragonfly dreams - Autumnal colours
AnimalFriends #67 Autumn/Halloween
intaas #44 Orange and Black
CCM #220 Mythical Creatures
TIOT - Halloween
Top 5 winners please grab our badge
MTTC #382 Halloween or cats (or both :D)
CityCrafter - Halloween
craftingbydesign - Boo, scare me

I have some random wildlife to share with you today:

(I might actually have already shared these - but here you go again lol).
And some more that I definitely haven't shared already:

Some posers eh? - All winged too hehe.

Shake that tag!

I combined two different challenges to come up with the idea of making a shaker into a tag instead of a card :). I used a Making Cards Cd-Rom for the image and patterned paper of the shaker element.

I made the shaker using some blue heart sequins and 'Party' confetti, and then attached the shaker element to a die-cut tag in plain white as a simply contrast.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
Simply Create Too #143 Make a shaker
Simply Less is Moore #382 (I tried to keep it simple, but it is not really clean - so not sure if it counts?)
MAWTT #82 For a man
CASology #317 Menu (I tried to make a CAS tag :D)

I would also like to share this little ladybird with you all too:
Oooh and this little fairy area too!

And finally some pond-dipping creatures:

Birthday @ I Love Promarkers

It is time for a new challenge over at I Love Promarkers and this time the design team were challenged to make a birthday creation. Of course you can either choose to play the theme yourself, or play Anything Goes, just so long as you use Promarker pens (or pens from the range). This time we are sponsored by The Paper Shelter, and I have used Annabelle for my creation, including a backing paper from the sponsor.
I layered the image over the background before printing, which gave the girl a darker than usual base to begin with. I then coloured her with Promarkers (I cannot find the piece of paper which I wrote them down on now though). I stamped the sentiment from a stamp set free gift with Creative Stamping, and heat embossed using copper Heat It Up powder. Finally I simply cut around the edge of the pattern and folded to make the card.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
PFP #466 BINGO - sentiment, image and flowers (I got confused and used embossing, but luckily my backing paper has flowers on it).
Bingo Board week 466
Polkadoodles wk41 - Wrapped up warm
 Crafty Calender - Autumn
Addicted-to-stamps #167 Autumn colours
dragonfly dreams - Autumnal colours
CMP - statement sentiment
notjustcards - Anything Goes

And now I have some photos from Arundel WWT:
What is making the bubbles?
This little diving duck of course!
Or maybe it was this one?
This little yellow wagtail was catching everyones eye - much to the annoyance of the rare birds that were actually in the aviary

Thanks so much for looking and we cannot wait to see what you create for our challenge,

CRAFT #486 Christmas
craftycatz #433 Anything but square

Travelling @ Creative Moments

Hi and welcome to my DT creation for our new challenge over at Creative Moments. Our challenge is always Anything Goes, but our twist this time is to have a Travel theme. I have used images from both of our sponsors to create cards this time. First up is EMMA WITH ANCHOR from Paper Nest Dolls:

I used a Nautical patterned base card for this image, as she is very nautical herself. I coloured her with watercolour pencils and then fussy cut. I painted a wooden heart with ... and then added a central heart with glitter glue (supposed to be blue!). Finally I added a sentiment topper at a jaunty angle.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge:
613 avenue create #214 use something wooden

The second card uses Playtime Pablo from  Creative Bug:
For this one I used a mini card and once again coloured the image with watercolour pencils. This time I cut the image with a wavy line (for country roads) and had it overlappig the edge of the card slightly. I used Glitzcraft poppy stencil and red and green glitter pastes to create the background, and to finish added some gems.

I would like to add this guy into the following challenges:
Sweet stampin' - Use a stencil
CountryView #68 Plant-tastic

Both cards are good for the following challenges:
C4C455 Make a card
 craftingbydesigns - Anything Goes

Through the window

Hi guys,

I decided to have a go at a sketch today, but I also wanted to find a use for some window peel-off's I have had for quite a while, but never been able to use. Here is what I cam up with:

I used two different glitter papers for the background panels and wrapped them with washi tape, that I thought looked kinda like a wallpaper border. I layered this panel onto a pale pink base card (to match the pink in the washi tape). I stamped some Sheena Douglas (I think) tree silhouette stamps ont a pre-printed star KRAFT card. I then added the sentiment and placed the peel-off over the top, so creating a nighttime scene through the window. The sentiment doesn't fit perfectly, but it is good enough that you can actually see what it says.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Allsorts #488 Trees/leaves
C4C455 make a card
The Paper Players #413 Trees/Leaves
scrapbookstampsociety #151 for a boy/man
MTTC #380 Use Kraft card

I also have some more Zoo photos for you today :)
