Wedding Memories

Hi there,
What a lovely day we had yesterday, to lead to this very wet and drab day today. However, yesterday was the day that mattered as a friend was getting married. Therefore, the creation I have to share with you today is of a memory book that I made for them, for a few photos of the night.

It folds out with the backs remaining blank for any writting they wish to add to explain the photos and the day lol and is made using KRAFT card.
So this is the front. I embossed a heart design on some foil and curled two of the edges to give a more vintage feel (the photos thet will be added are polaroids - so I wanted the design to fit-in with these). I then added some hearts and a sentiment.

For this panel  used some bronze peel-offs and coloured them in watercolours on the KRAFT to make a monochromatic effect - similar to a faded photograph.

The final page I made very crisp and monochrome with setiments that encourage this photo to be one of the bride and groom. I did use a butterfly punch on the top corners to stop it looking too geometric though.

I would like to add this creation for the following challenges:
Country View #55 Metal (front panel)
MTTC #353 Krafty
Kort 'o' mania #182 Anything Goes
City Crafter #377 Monotone colouring (panel #2)
Allsorts #431 New Beginnings

I have another fish tank update for you (about 154.5 hours on this one):
Nearly there!!! Yippee - going to do some more on this one later I hope!

Thank you for looking,

Hugz Tinz
