Gratitude @ I Love Promarkers

Hi there,

We have a new challenge starting for you today at I Love Promarkers and the optional theme is 'Thank you'. The sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo and I have used one of their images to make this card.

I stamped over some white card with a butterfly stamp (Dovecraft - Birds and the Bees stamp set) and using versamark ink. I then heat embossed with Heat It Up clear embossing powder before blending distress inks over the whole background (marmaid lagoon, shaded lilac, evergreen bough, spun sugar and squeezed lemonade). I coloured the image with promarkers (Warm Grey 1, Lemon, Sky Blue, Pastel Pink, Cool Grey 5, Caramel, Amethyst, Yellow, Soft Green, Pastel Yellow, Cerise, Bluebell and Sandstone) and fussy cut it out. I layered this on my homemamde patterned background and matted onto pearl cardstock and added some pearls to one side. I die-cut the edge of a KRAFT card blank using an edging die that was free with a magazine. I added a piece of the patterned card on the inside flap behind this border, after matting onto the white pearl card. I layered the image panel onto the card front and then added a sentiment, matted onto the white pearl card.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
DigiDoodleStudio #30 Things with wings
TheLibraryChallenge #64 Minitaure Garden Grower
SimonSaysWednesday - Use your favourite tool (my heat gun for heat embossing, and my blending pads)
CRAFT #565 Summer

Thanks for looking,
