Use a die-cut

 Hey guys,

We have a new challenge started over at Creative Moments, and our optional theme is to use a die-cut, and our sponsor is All Dressed Up.

Here is my creation:

I coloured the image with Promarkers and then die-cut using an x-cut scalloped circle. I also cut an x-cut ornate label from red card and added a peel-off sentiment. I made an easel base card and added this panel to that. To finish I added flat backed pearls and washi tape.

Masculine

 We are in July already and our new challenge at MAWTT is make something Masculine. I decided to create some backgrounds using masking as I haven't done this in a while.

I made a selection of cards based on the same theme, but for different occasions. I used a background stamp () for the main image, and the background pattern on some of the cards. I simply stamped this in purple ink. Once this had dried on the white card, I used xxx in various neon colours and blended them together to make the background, using a mask of the birdhouse. I then coloured the birdhouse itself, with the same ink, using the reverse mask. I mounted all of the images on a plain sky blue layer before adding to the base cards.

For this card I simply matted my layer onto a square of purple pearlescent card and added a peel-off sentiment to finish.

This time I used the background stamp to make a bottom border along the card. I used the sentiment stamp and purple ink to create a sentiment patterned paper to add my layer to. Finally I added circles to create a pattern in the bottom corner.

For this card I added the sentiment in black ink, underneath a plain coloured matt on the base card. I tore a strip of cream paper to matt my layer onto. Finally I added some mini bows to the bottom of the matt.

For the final card I used a purple pearlescent base card and stamped the full background over this. I then added the torn layer, as per the previous card. The sentiment was again stamped in black ink.

Magical

 Hi guys,

Our new optional theme over at I Love Promarkers, is - magical.

Here is my little wizard using an image from our lovely sponsor - Color of Love.

I die-cut a gold panel for the background, then added strips of starry patterned paper. I coloured my Wizard with Promarkers and then fussy cut him, before adding to the card base. To finish I added some peel-off stars around some of the stars on the patterned paper.

Summertime!

 Hi guys,

We have a new challenge starting today at I Love Promarkers, where the only requirement is to use markers on your project. Our optional theme is 'Summertime'.

Here is my creation for the challenge, using one of the gnomes from Last Minute Manda.

I coloured him using my promarker pens and then layered a daisy paper onto a base card. Then I simply added some peel-offs to finish.

 Our new challenge started today at Creative Moments, with the optional theme of *Men or boys*. Our sponsor for this one is Mirtellamente and I have used Almost Cute Teddy on my card.

I coloured the image with Promarkers before fussy cutting. I then found two patterned papers in my stash and layered these together to make a suitable background. To finish I added a birthday sentiment from Papermania's masculine collection.

Super Birthday

 Hey guys,

We are now in June - I am looking forward to having a weeks holiday at the end of the month! Our challenge for the month at MAWTT is Birthday.

I coloured an image from my stash using promarker pens. I have been unable to determine who supplied this image, s if anybody knows then please let me know so I can update this post. I layered the image onto a blue woodgrain patterned paper. I then took a Happy Birthday Digistamp which was also coloured with Promarkers, inked the edge of this with blue ink and added this to the base card underneath the image.

Pink Flowers

 We have a new challenge started today at I Love Promarkers with the optional theme of In the Pink. The only requirement for entering into the prize draw is to ensure you have used markers on your project. Our sponsor is Paper Nest Dolls and my image was one of theirs.

Here is my creation.

I coloured the image using the following Promarkers: Baby Pink and Rose Pink; Lush Green and Forest Green; Canary, Gold and Burnt Sienna. I then layered several patterned papers onto a 6x6 base card with the top layer being the coloured image.
