Hey there everybody - time for our reminder post over at Quirky Crafts!! Don't forget we want to see how you use your photos - either as inspiration or actually as part fo the project. So I decided it was time to start on the scrapbook albums from our wedding, especially as we are now on our first anniversary lol!
So here is my page:
I printed out one of the pics into a heart shape, as well as a bugaboo panel, which says Love is two hearts beating as one (coloured with Promarkers). I then added some ribbon strips to make a house shape, and also added some ribbon flowers and butterflies. I wrote the details onto the page using a silver metallic paint, and finished this off with some lime green ladybirds.
I would also like to add this page to the following challenges:
PFP 386 Ribbon/Twine/Lace
Cute Card Thursday #469 Celebrations
CAGI - Anything Goes
AYLI - Favourite Stamp Brand (or one of them) is Bugaboo as they can be humourous or serious and they have a range of stamps for may occasions.
2 cute ink #135 Anything Goes
I would also like to share some pictures of my growing bits with you:
All potted up and looking fresh,
Thanks for looking and hope to see you over on the challenge blog,

Ladybird Tower
Hi guys,
Wow my new job is really wearing me out at the moment! I am coming home and I am hardly able to keep my eyes open. Not good when I have so much to do before we go away next week! Looks like Saturday will be a very busy day for me if I am going to be doing everything I should have done yesterday, today and tomorrow too lol. Animals to clean, floors to sweep and mop, or vac and clothes to wash (well actually I have put these in tonight lol).
However I did play with a new card fold and my dies and this is what I created:
So this is a 'tower-fold' card and it was featured in a recent issue of Quick Cards, so I thought I would give it a go. I used a free butterfly die for one side panel and a self-adhesive leaf lace for the other which I topper with a 3D flower made of a few die-cut flowers layered together. I added washi tape and butterfly self-adhesive ribbons to the centre strips and then added die-cut ladybirds, another free gift, to the popped forward strips. I added rub-on words to a die-cut shape and then embellished with gems and more die-cut flowers.
I would like to enter this card for the following challenges:
Simon says Monday - Handmade flowers
CAGI - Things with wings
TIOT - The lady in red (ladybird)
MAWTT #41 Handmade/die-cut flowers
inkychicks #80 Flowers
open-minded crafting #15 Movement (the card folds so the ladybirds pop-out)
Here is a fish tank update too - 139hrs:
Thank you for looking and remember to check back next week for my DT creations!!

House Mouse creations!
Hello there,
I got a House Mouse CD-Rom at the beginning of the week and so I decided to have a play. I love these little mice (as you have probably guessed from my wedding invites), and they make such sweet cards!
First I did a 'Singing in the Rain' card:
I used the base image from the decoupage section just on its own as a basic topper. I matted it onto a green gingham paper from the Papermania Country Life collection, which I wrapped with a dark green layered with lime green ribbon. I fussy cut the sentiment topper from the decoupage selection and added this to the ribbon with 3D foam pads. Finally I added two green flowers and a green butterfly.
I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
Crafty Catz #361 Mainly green
modsquad - song inspiration (I think this one is fairly obvious)
CCM #183 Go Green
Kort 'o' mania #171 Monochromatic (except the picture)
Simply Create Too #125 Lots of green
Not just cards #42 Monochrome
And here is the second card I made:
This time I did decoupage elements of the image to make the mice stand out a little more. I love all the bubbles and the fact they are bathing in the cats bowl lol. I stamped images using Dovecraft Indigo ink and stamps that came free with a magazine (Wildflower stamps).
This card is perfect for the following challenges:
CMP - Mother's Day challenge as it depicts mummy washing the babies
Animal Friends #48 Animals with big ears
CCEE1710 Celebrate Bubbles
catch the bug - birds, bees or butterflies
C4C376 Butterflies/Moths
I have also taken a photograph of Purrdy's planter a month after first planting it up and here it is:
It is looking great now and filling out nicely - there are some summer flowering bulbs in there too, so as the Primula's die back the bulbs should start to take their place.
Thank you for looking,
Hugz Tinz

Egg Boat
What a good idea - we probably need it here in Newport with all the rain we have been getting. It has been quite nice today from about lunchtime though (when the rain actually decided to stop) and should be nice for a few days apparently. It is time for a new challenge over at I Love Promarkers, and this time we want to see TRANSPORT on your creations.I have used Egg Fishing from our sponsor Digital Delights
.
Here is my DT make:
The papers were both from the Forever Friends forever love paper pack. I wrapped them with a ribbon before sticking to a card blank. I coloured the image with Promarker pens and then die-cut before adding to the card. Finally I embellished with a hessian flower and butterfly peel-off.
Promarkers - Satin, Sandstone, Cinnamonn, Sunkissed Pink, Pastel Blue, Cobalt Blue, Cerise, Lime Green, Honeycomb, Tulip Yellow
Ltd ed. Promarkers - April Showers, Budding Rose, Tequila Sunrise, Pink Lobster and Island Lagoon
Flex marker - Sunflower
Die - Couture Creations Ornamental Lace

Please do add the photo so we can see where you have been inspired though.
Our sponsors for our first challenge back are Bugaboo and Crafty Ribbons. (Unfortunately I have not used a ribbon on this first creation, but do check back for our mid-post reminder for one that has used ribbons :D). There will be three prize winners for this challenge - so do pop along to Quirky Crafts to see what you could win!
